They actually petitioned the Swedish government to "limit" to amount of Thai brides coming back to Sweden because apparently Swedish men don't like masculinized, overtly feminist nutcases and prefer feminine, petite women.

This is funny in fiction. It's not funny when real-life Swedish women are like this while spouting misandrist slogans, and then wondering why their supply of betas/simps are drying up as they begin hunting overseas.
Women honestly have a pretty good chance of losing the right to vote and hold office with in the next century. This current elgalitarian experiment is being run all over the west and if it fails. Then women will lose it all. Don't think it cant happen look at just how quickly women lost all of their rights under the Taliban.
Same thing could easily happen in the west if things go to complete shit.
But honestly thats the problem with the current establishment world wide the few of them that can see the problem are too arrogant to admit that they fucked up.

Women being disenfranchised and sent back to the kitchen, and representative democracy becoming again a male-only thing, is a very optimistic outcome. We might get some decent government that way.
A darker scenario is one in which voting ceases to matter at all. There either wouldn't be elections held anymore, or they would be a complete charade, with the person declared the winner always being the one that the people behind the scenes decided on beforehand, with nobody actually bothering to count the ballots.
Not that it would matter anyway, as the merely elected politicians would have about as much actual control over the policies of the regime as do the royal family in a constitutional monarchy. The people making the real decisions would be those who had been groomed (pun intended) for it since early childhood, and their identities would not be public knowledge.
But every election there'd be long lines of self-important female voters all queuing to cast their ballets for either Happy Merchant or for Gigachad, (neither of which would be real people) all convinced that they were empowered citizens playing an important role in government.
The men would largely have already figured out it was all fake, and not bother to show up.

They didn't shut down immigration - they made it so that women who get divorced within the first two years of marrying a Swedish man get deported.
Which is the double sword of marrying a third world woman, there's a not impossible chance she just sees you as an anchor husband.

The women who actually want a nice guy come in two flavors, girls who are unusually wise, and girls who have firmly learned the disavantages of being with a 'bad' boy first hand.
Its a choice between exitement and stability, and as a rule human beings only appreciate stability after they have seen things go utterly wrong.

Some want the stability, but don't respect the guy who brings it, because they still long for the exciting bad boy.
Some have realized exactly why things went wrong before, and have realized it's better to have a sane, stable man, and try to spur him to be more assertive, than to take an unstable, questionably sane man who is already assertive, and 'tame' him.

Naw, not for most western women it isn't.
Don't ya know? The Nice Guys they rejected in their teens and twenties are for when they're getting to their thirties and want to settle down with someone stable.
Their teens are twenties are for when they get their backs blown out by Chads and Tyrones.
Only, now they're having meltdowns because those Nice Guys didn't wait for them (yeah, their narcissism is that strong), they moved on and found someone to settle down with, or they went overseas as a Passport Bro.
And even if they did snag some deluded Nice Guy who thinks "wow, it's finally my time!", odds are she'll end up cheating on him with another Chad or Tyrone, or she'll feel resentful she had to settle, or he'll find out she settled for him (second choice, or third, or fourth...); divorce being on the cards, too, with all that entails.
Why the fuck would any sane bloke want such headaches?
