TNG Era Starfleet activates a Necron Tomb World

I am pretty sure that back in the day we did these things without Q and the other crappy OP omnipotent idiots who are never around when the Federation or non-protagonist characters needed them.

Honestly, I think the Q and the other godlike trek races don't give a rat's ass about the Galaxy at large.

Q clearly does in the prime timeline at least.

They have FTL in inertialess drives, They only needed Dolem gates to kill the Old Ones who were hiding in the webways.
The lore is kinda vague on this:
It is well that this is so. As a species bereft of psykers as a result of the loss of their souls during the biotransference process, the Necrons are also incapable of Warp travel, and without access to the Webway, they would be forced to rely once more on slow-voyaging stasis-ships, dooming them to interstellar isolation.

I think that this would not be phrased this way if it were not the case.

Then again, the Warhammer 40k cannon is such a mess it makes a snake's entrails look straight.

That wiki sucks, Lexicanum is the better one. Although IMO 14Dchan is superior to both.

Considering that 40k has a weird canon policy I don't think the wikis are the problem, it is whoever decided to make everything canon in 40k to begin with.

Me personally, I generally take Arch and TTS as my primary sources of truth.
