TNG Era Starfleet activates a Necron Tomb World

This isn't just any Tomb world, and I shouldn't say JUST activates.

It is the only non activated one in a system, said system is the dynasty of the Silent King.
While the other planets have his whole dynasty and those that follow him on it.

Maybe some of the elder races in Trek can potentially do something about it if they act fast, but the necrons, especially if they are the new type of necrons with some leftover agency and personality, can bone pretty much anything.

Maybe Species 8472 or the Q can do something, maybe the Organians or one of the others, maybe the Borg can try and crash their entire fleet of cubes into the necrons and slwo them down, but otherwise, the ST MW is FUCKED!

I am pretty sure the Trek Cosmic level beings would literally temporal lock them in place before they can. The Necrons while powerful are still linear beings.

No they arnt actually.
They have the capability to time travel.
They have a lot of things.
They are currently weaker right now because of them turning against thier gods.

I am pretty sure their primary space travel happened via Dolmen gate, and that intertialess drive was kinda meh.

The big reason why they were losing against the Old Ones when they were still the Necrontyr was the lack of/shitty FTL, maybe the C'tan fixed that, but I doubt they were that much better off considering that even with the Star Gods' help the war ended in a bloody stalemate and a fucked over warp.

Also, I think this OP is more about what happens with the Feds.

Frankly, they are fucked unless the Q or someone else decides to save theri bacon and the bacon of the whole ST MW.

Intertialess drives are extremely fast, They needed Dolmen Gates so they could get into the webway to kill the oldones that were living there.

If they try to time travel in the Star Trek Universe and go against the 24th Century Federation. They will run into something way more powerful than the 24th Century Federation. Future Feds are Timelords Lite. Which is a scary thing.

Necrons are literally not scared of any faction in 40k.
Chaos included.
And they timetravel backwards.
Also have a orray that allows them to manipulate the galaxy with thier fingertips
