Well GiveSendGo has a rock solid civil case at the very least.

And depending on the specific state(s) involved there might also be the possibility of getting criminal charges actually brought. Several states have computer crime laws that would be relevant, so if either party is in one of them then that's a state crime that can be charged and state politics can be different from federal politics.

Of course, the real fun is if you can link the hacker to others in a criminal enterprise. Because that means RICO fun, and private individuals can initiate RICO actions.

It gets even better, this guy has a gofundme where he is soliciting money for legal aid.
Apparently his pregnant ex ran away to the USA without telling him she is having his kid.

I am pretty sure that he will never see said kid again if he is a wanted for something south of the Canadian border.

Methinks this guy needs help, not hugs and counseling help, but padded room, danger to himself and others, help.
I'd bet money that he will be found dead in the coming months, either due to an OD or a suicide, or after one of the people whose lives and livelihoods he ruined has a meeting with him.
The guy looks more and more like what we call a 'circuit breaker', a fall guy that makes a convenient corpse.

Having read the background this is so much worse than just the GiveSendGo hack. Dude is a real internet lolcow, he really is trying to claim he invented Anonymous and lives his life stuck in 2008 chan culture and drama apparently. Incredible shit.
