Wild to think it managed to surpass Mission Impossible after coming out a week before it. It looks like it'll probably beat that film in the domestic box office as well, which is quite impressive. It's killed Insidious: The Red Door and it's going to surpass Elemental sooner or later and it might even catch up to Transformers: Beast Wars at this rate since it hasn't had a real drop week to week in viewings until three weeks after release domestically. If it does, it might break the domestic top twelve box office up to this point.

It needs an expanded international release. I know a few people overseas that really want to see it.

What possible interest could an international audience have in regards to a movie about international child and sex trafficking?

According to Box Office Mojo it surpassed Transformers: Beast Wars in domestic box office which is impressive since the Transformers movie came out 25 days earlier and Sound of Freedom is in its fourth week. At this moment eleven million in domestic box office separate it from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny!

I thought I or someone else posted about this earlier but maybe not because it was almost a nothing story to begin with but if anyone noticed, a while ago journalists dredged through the hundreds and hundreds of donors and found one person named Fabian Marta who donated to the films production and apparently even had a picture taken with some of the filmmakers. He was later alleged to of perpetrated some sort of crimes pertaining to pedophilia and kidnapping (ie Child Trafficking). The left wing media of course ran dozens of stories about this as an example of hypocrisy to further smear the film.

Regardless, if you heard of that story or not, a Grand Jury found insufficient evidence to charge him with any of the crimes.

Be interesting to see the (lack) of corrections posted by mainstream news outlets like Rolling Stones and Newsweek who ran huge and widely publicized tabloidish articles about this exclusive only weeks ago, a lot of the faux outrage generated by a "journalist" podcaster who calls himself a "disinfo activist" named Jim Stewartson.

I am amazed. if a grand jury couldn't be convinced to indict that must have been some real shaky evidence.

This must have been such bullshit that it didn't show up on my news feed... that seems to indicate how irrelevant it was. To me at least.
