Is the recent scandals engulfing him going to result in Meyer bolting to Southern Cal or LSU ?

I don't think they're going to fire him anytime soon, simply because it'd make things worse at this point. They're stuck with him through his contract period, at the very least, because running through three head coaches in 6 years means the program has no real identity or culture, and ditching Norvell means you just committed to a self-imposed death penalty.

I think it's bullshit that he got flack for shit he said over a decade ago, but I'm not surprised he got canned for it.

Don't follow it nearly as much as I did 8-10 years ago, but it looks like he wasn't at much risk before(I was mistaking him for another coach). I must say that what happened to him looks like a settling of scores...

They know full well that being right, objective, whatever, doesn't matter, what matters is do you drive views from hate or like.
