Victor the Crusader
October 10th.
This day is very special to the people of Konohagakure. Many shinobi and civilians lost their families because of Kyuubi. It was also the day the village lost its beloved fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze.
Many things were lost that the people held dear, some lost loved ones, others more eathly possessions. But few gained anything from the events of “The Fall” as it became known, but some lost a little less than others. The first was the other Shinobi Villages, who gained vantage over the Superpower for a few years, with the ability to mock them as they want.
The second one is the leader of the Root, a hidden division of Shinobi of Konoha's Anbu training subdivision. Danzo Shimura would become the puppet master to many newly found orphans.
The third one is a shinobi named Kazuma who collected the residual chakra which The Nine tails left behind during its attack. Using the found Chakra he sealed a tangled beast of his own creation into his own son.
The fourth and final notable character who probably gained most of all. The head of the Hyuga clan, Hiashi Hyuga who gained a son of immense potential.
After everything was finished, Hiashi Hyuga, who was supposed to return to the clan compound for the meeting, walked away from Konohagakure, to a lake far away from his clans home, far away from where he was suppose to be. Within the hour, Hiashi found where he was told to be, at the Valley of the End, finding the elderly Uchiha woman who called him to this historic site.
When he reached there, he sternly asked; "What does an Uchiha elder want with me?". with a face which is already tired of crying. she slowly spoke "Emiya is dead". Hiashi was shocked at first "how?". but then, he composed himself and said "for what reason are you informing this matter to me in secret? our relationship was ended by her a year ago".
She slowly raised the thing in her hands and moved it towards him while removing the blanket covering it. Swaddled in black cloth, a three month old babe lay in her elderly hands. The elderly woman’s grief aside, she chose then to speak, "She was pregnant when you both decided to part.". This one sentence shocked him to the core. He asked, while his voice was shaking "then, this boy is-?". she replied "your son.".
He was stunned for a few seconds. his surprised face turned into anger "Then, why wasn't I informed about it till now?" She replied, "Do you expect me to inform a Hyuga trash who impregnated my daughter, before deciding she wasn’t what he wanted?" Only then, he remembered the person in front of him is Fugaku's and Emiya's mother who also lost her daughter tonight. He carefully took the baby in his hands and looked at him once more. He can't stop smiling since he found he became a father. Then, he looked at her once again and asked her with a confused face "Then, why did you hand him over to me? Aren't you Uchiha more possessive when it comes to blood relations?".
She sighed "Once you see his eyes, you will understand it yourself. Until now, Emiya and I stopped Fugaku from seeing him even once. But since Emiya is no more and I'm old, I can't protect this child alone anymore. Fugaku will execute this child once he sees him".
Hiashi was enraged "He wouldn’t Dare!" Then, she said "In the future, if your wife and your children ever turn against him or even if the whole clan turned against him, promise me, you will not turn your back on him. promise me, you will protect my grandson at least until he can protect himself.".
Hiashi nodded seriously "I promise I won't give up on my son under any circumstances even if I have to stand against my whole clan and as a Hyuga I swear, I shall never break this promise". She smiled weakly "Go, your clansmen and wife must be worried. I just used genjutsu to put him to sleep. Give him to me, if you release it forcefully from a baby, there might be side effects".
She looked at the baby and shed a tear "by the time you grow up, probably I won't be alive. I guess this is our last meeting. Goodbye, my little Shu".
Then, she hands over the baby to Hiashi "his mother named him Shuichi. After a few minutes, he will wake up and start crying. So to stop his cries, take this and make him drink it". She handed a milk bottle to him. "Oh, it would be better if you keep his mother's name secret from the rest of the clan. You can tell your wife and your trusted ones if you must. After all, this boy contains two of the most powerful bloodlines in him, it would make him a target of kidnapping, at least by those Kumo brats." Finally they began their trek back to Konohagakure, before parting ways at the gate.
A few minutes later, the baby started to cry loudly. He panicked at first thinking it would attract passersby. But, the Kyuubi's attack just ended but a few hours ago. All were busy in anguish for the ones they lost. He brought out the milk bottle and put it near the child's mouth, little Shu instinctively opened his mouth and began to drink it.
Just when the milk went into his mouth, he opened eyes in surprise. Hiashi, who was feeding him the milk with his hands while looking at his surroundings, peeked at the baby's face and stopped moving in shock.
He was surprised to see white irises with no visible pupils or should say simply white eyes. He whispered "Byakugan". Even though he was born from an Uchiha mother, he has a distinct quality of being a Hyuga. Until now, Hiashi was worried about how to convince his clansmen but now, it became easier. The only issue is his wife Eitsu who is currently six months pregnant.
Soon, he reached the clan compound where people are distressed. Upon seeing him, they breathe a sigh of relief "Hiashi-sama, where did you go during such a dire hour? everyone was worried about you!".
Hiashi looked around, and smiled “I have found that I’ve a son. I bid you all to know my son; Shuichi Hyuga, he is my bastard, but a shame he is not.” Suddenly a commotion was wrought, elderly clan members were enraged, why would a esteemed head of the Hyuga Clan lower himself to lay with a commoner?!
Hiashi sternly replied "didn't you hear it clearly?! I said he was my son, I didn't pick him up somewhere. He was born to me, Hiashi Hyuga. Understand?”
Then, suddenly it became quiet, before someone whispered, "Does that mean Hiashi sama had an affair with someone?". The person beside him replied, "Don't you know they were only married for like nine months? How could that be considered an affair?". Clan members began to murmur.
Then, one old man asked, "What's going on here?". Hiashi looked at him and greeted him "Father". Then, he proceeds to explain the whole matter. The clan members expected him to scold Hiashi but instead, the old man became jubilant, "let me hold my grandson".
When he looked at the baby who was silently drinking the milk while curiously looking at his surroundings, the old man was surprised for a second and laughed for a while "Hahaha, he's indeed your son. He looks exactly like when both you and Hizashi were born"

Then, he suddenly frowned "Wait a moment, T-this boy looks like 3-4 months old". He looked seriously at Hiashi "Is it her son?". Hiashi nodded. He got angered for a second and unconsciously pulled the bottle out. When the baby began to cry, he came to his senses and put the bottle into his mouth again.
He looked at Hiashi and the elders and rest of the clan members "Our village suffered heavily tonight. We too Hyuga, suffered injuries but thankfully there is no casualty in the clan. Everyone, it's already late. Go to your homes and rest for today.. As for the Elders and Hiashi, we are holding a meeting right now to discuss this… incident.”
First off, this is rather loosely based on an older fanfic I saw and read YEARS ago. It's English was horrible, it's plot made no sense, but I still liked it. I hope to try to expand on that, as it was abandoned by it's author.
Second off, no this is not the 'Project' I am working on, while it is fanfiction, it's not anime, and it will have some effort blown into it, as this was written because I was bored, not because I distinctly care about it.
Thirdly, and finally, I feel this site needs some flavor, it's been largely ignored by writers and I am one of the distinct few that frequently post new creative writing threads, this site has mostly become a political site, and I feel that is the wrong way to take The Sietch.
I'm going to bed, and will likely stalk this forum for a while, comment on any concerns you may have.

I am rather tired, so I will explain little bit of shit that needs to be said. First off, this is rather loosely based on an older fanfic I saw and read YEARS ago.
