Riiiiiiiiiight, everyone in the Gitmo is incoruptible, just like the guards at Nurnberg Trials.

Now, another theory. What if feds knew all the tim where Maxwell was and only picked her now, so she can implicate some politicians they want implicated and leave the rest in the shadow? She in turn gets light sentence and nice money stash from uninplicated rich donors, once she gets out. Unless they kill her, just in case, once she does her part.

Gitmo has very few visitors, every guard is military. Ot is one of the most secure prisons in the US, and yeah

The corruption goes from top down, so it's not the visitors you should be worried but the guards being influenced by their chain of command because colonel wants promotion to general and general wants extremely well paid advisor job after he retires.

and no Private would risk killing someone in cold blood. Niether would an NCO. You do know there are legal ways to not follow orders right?

You do realize that one of the core missions of the Army is to kill people that your chain of command tells you to kill? How many murders are there in the United States Armed Forces? Remember the recent Fort Hood case which got media attention? Armed forces are not some fantasy collection of the finest representatives of their nation, all believing into what they swore to, with all their heart, but collection of idealists, carierists and paycheck collectors, seasoned with sparkling of sociopaths and psychopaths, so people with money, power and influence can find someone willing to mix, heart attack inducing, poison into target's meal, for a proper compensation. Sure, it would be a bit more difficult than at the NY prison, but so would be ADX Florence.

And you don't understand that they are humans, just as vulnerable to temptation from above as other people, albeit perhaps a bit less than general population.
The reason why Gitmo would be more secure (but not constitutional) is because no one has much power there. Basically, because everything is regimented, tightly controlled, and well recorded, any deviation from that would be noticed by many people. If the US government kills her in custody, it becomes obvious to everyone they wanted her dead, and people would rat each other out, at the very least just to make Trump look bad. Then you'd believe the ones with evidence.

For anyone else trying to kill here, it becomes prohibitively difficult, as all the soldiers know they are going to get caught if they do it.

If a CCTV goes down, or someone winds up dead in GITMO, the most protected military prison the US has...then those are big red flags one cant hide by going "Commited suicide" or "killed by cell mates" sorta stuff...

You got Much more faith in the government than i do.

I don't find most government agencies trust worthy in the slightest.
This has nothing to do with trust in government. It's all about self interest. Let's pretend Maxwell died in Gitmo. Then immediately, everyone blames the government, and there is no way out of this. Everyone wants to squeal on Trump so any secrets would come out, and no one would believe anything else. The government knows this. So the government wouldn't kill her in Gitmo, and do everything possible to keep her alive and hunt down the killers if that happened. All the people who work there know they will be hunted down if they fuck up. So they won't fuck up, because there is no way to bribe someone who knows they'll be arrested for life.

It would be arrested for life, and any chance of parole would have then being Dishonorably discharged the worst possible way.
