Not Cryptids,but strange behaviour of normal animals.

I read memories of polish forester who worked in Bieszczady after WW2,where practically were no people then.

1.He agreed to meet with friends in forest,waited for them,and hear their voices,as if they were happy - but they moved too fast for humans.Then,he saw few deers running from pack of wolves who was made those strange voices.
Other foresters said to him later,that wolves hunting made human voices.

2.He go with friend to hunt boars - and,they go different path.Then,he meet big boar in forest - who look at him,and look like thinking "could i charge him before he schoot me" hunter thought the same,and both slowly widraw.

Later he meet his friend,who had the same experience - he meet boar,but not schoot it becouse it still could get him.And boar do not charged him for the same reason,and slowly widraw.

Sorry for no cryptids - but we do not have them in Poland.

There are lots of places where people seldom go - except during wars when territory is contested.
So the answer to your question might simply be that with the war in question long over, there are no longer military operations in the region.

USA - probably we have Bigfoot.Enough place and small number of people.The same goes for Siberia and Mongolia.
But Afganistan? not enough deserted place where big creatures could live.Their population would degenerate and die long ago.

Sorry for being unclear.Bigfoot is seen in places where are forests,the same goes for almas.They have places to hide,and find food.Afganistan - it is big,but there is no forests to hide and find food.

The locals in that country say they hunt livestock and people and usually only come out at night.

I have personally been 20ft away from a Bigfoot in the Summerville SC area at a remote construction site. It towered over me at 8ft tall. I made a tactical retreat to the other side of the property.

Thanks ! i read about Australia case,and i belive that veteran fisherman could made it bigger then it was,but they do not mistaken normal shark for that.
And,since they do not need surface to breath like possible surviving sea reptiles,i think that unknown fishes are more probable then unknown reptiles or mammals.

And the weird thing is. Scientist always say if somethng exists it will be seen by people a lot. People in the region scream at the top of their lungs the animals are over here. Then this same scientists will say it is mistken identiy or tall tales. Yeah scientist are more wrong than they are right.

Exactly.If local hunters/fishermans say that X exist,it mean that X exist.Maybe smaller and slighty different,but exist.

Scientists are chasing after the money and there isn't much money in Cryptid research. Fun fact back in pre revolutionary France farmers would bring scientists rocks that fell from the sky and the scientists would dismiss their claims.

You also have the fact that people will rationalize things that make no sense or claim those were wonderful special effects that were used.
