Well gang it looks like Operation Hole Snipe was a success. We replaced the entire Navy Defensive line with a bunch of Engineman, HTs, Machinst Mates, ETs and GSs from the fleet. And the Refs were none the wiser.:devilish::devilish: Better look next year Army.:)
Not just that.

Trump has announced he's going to let players from the military teams join the NFL professionally, with active duty service deferred till after they finish playing. A long overdue change in the rules, in my view.

I disagree, one should go to a service Academy to become an officer, not an NFL star. Oh well, my family and professional loyalties are to Army so I suppose I am just grumpy tonight.

This because of my gloating last time isn't it?

But hopefully this will not be the start of another disappointing decade of shame. As it stands my fridge is sad and empty but I forgot the second half which is good.

I would have to disagree with that rule. Yes it will make Academies more competitive to the Big Ten Schools but that is not the point of going to a military academy. Being a 1st lieutenant at 30 after the NFL is a recipe for disaster and would cause a lot of problems for career paths reenlistemnts.

I do agree with this. If you want to be in the NFL and the army join the Guard. It is not a bad option for a lot of people that want serve but have other dreams too.

Well if it makes your day I may or may not have lost a bet and have to wear a Navy Jersey all week long to work.

Nah, make them play rugby and we'll call in a few favours with the Maori servicemen in New Zealand and we will see if these US Army, Navy etc. boys are made of stuff as stern as you think they are :p

On a side note, that article shows just how little I speak sport as some of it just sounds alien :V

This is how Engineers are fed in the Fleet. The same will happen to the Maori when the go against the real Sea Monsters. :devilish: :ROFLMAO:

Pffft, Maori culture is built around sea monsters, so they'll have fun, but what else can I say except you're welcome! :p

Well, it is American Hand Egg. Which we’re very proud of even when our given team to show loyalty to is terrible.
