Team
- Forces of The City (Destiny)
-Commonwealth of Mankind (Stellaris)
-SuperEarth (Hell Divers 2)
-UNSC (Halo)

Each faction are at their numerically and technological peak and are perfectly unified. They have one year prep time and go up against the following.

1. Terran Dominion (StarCraft)
2. System Alliance + Cerberus (Mass Effect)
3. Galactic Empire (Star Wars)
4. Imperium of Mankind (Warhammer40k)

The rivals of humanity are the latest versions or versions before their collapse/destruction.

Dont know too much about the forces of the city. But I do know that the commonwealth and UNSC will easily be able to get past 2. 3 and 4 might be tougher because of the numbers the empires have. But I think the UNSC with access to forerunner bullshit and the crazy stuff stellaris has would be able to take down the Galactic empire and Imperium.

Yeah I am still steadfastly ignorant of Destiny and Stellaris but I'm pretty sure from what I've seen of Stellaris late game, it can be pretty epic to the point it could probably pick up the lions share of work here to make Super Earth especially redundant and the UNSC less so.

If I do a proper write up, I'll probably have to replace those two with something more manageable, like Terran Confederation of Starship Troopers and/or Wing Commander for the lulz.

The Forces of the City are basically the team's pysker equivalent. It has tens of millions of perpetuals with control over elements and matter manipulation.

Believe it or not Super Earth actually adds the biggest Navy, they apparently have a default fleet that's 50,000 strong and can replace any of those losses faster than they can be destroyed (In comparison UNSC fleet size is less than 10,000 including every ship destroyed since Halo Reach until Halo Infinite), they also have the fastest FTL out of everyone here.

Super Earth also have arguably the most amount of infantry as they're able to hold a three war campaign front for over forty years.

Yeah but the ships seem to be pretty small. But it is convenient that each squad gets a dedicated orbital close air support vessel.

You see them exploding every so often over the Cyborg Commie planets though. They seem to rather expendable as well.

Ships may be small but if the Common Wealth upgrades them (Which they have a year to do) they'll have a starting fleet that'll be devastating to deal with especially considering how fast Super Earth can build them by themselves.

Then the Hell Divers are pretty much better than any front line infantry short of a ODST but significantly more numerous so they'll substantially beef up the infantry fights.

I knew little about Stellaris, but i agree, that Forerunner technology would destroy all IoM&friends could bring.

While that's true remember the only real Forerunner technology they've been able to apply at their peak is the Infinity which would be a fleet killer on its own against the Galactic Empire but just be an average capital ship in 40k.

Meh not really Star Wars and 40k are on the same level for the most part.

Heck if you take low end calls for 40k they would be bottom of the barrel.

Ehh the Infinity doesn't scale that high honestly is has just as bad as low ends as 40k.
I don't see it changing the tide of the war against the Imperium but can change particular battles, the Infinity on its own is ridiculously susceptible to boarding/ramming.

Again it’s possible to nerf 40k hard by looking at sources where the crew manually drags and loads shells for their cannons, and in the first battle fleet gothic the engagement distances are 3000k 6000k 9000k and 12000k if that K means kilometers that’s very short and would be lower than Star Wars.

True but even if we low balled them to that the Imperium can still teleport Terminators onto the bridge to kill the crew.

A couple Terminators and Spacemarines could cause a lot of damage assuming they don't sabotage the generators or anything like that.

If they get close enough and the shields are lowered or depleted yes.

They don’t block forerunner teleportation we don’t know how a 40k warp teleportation array works with other shields.
Pretty sure 40k void shields specifically stop teleportation but Covenant/UNSC never shields aren't and have never shown to stop teleportation.

Teleportation in 40k typically requires traversing the Warp so would it operate outside of the Warp (ie outside of the 40K verse)?

Teleporting onto ships is chancy anyways. There's a reason they like using boarding torpedoes and drop pods and other forms of zany boarding. It seems pretty niche to me.

Don't we usually have tech or magic synchronized in debates? Like a blank will turn off Jedi powers, and the Vong would turn off Psyker powers?

Yeah that's standard.

But Warp Teleportation (and Warp Missiles etc) tend to bypass shields except for Void Shields as Scooby Doo says. So it's an inverse of the standard that shields should block teleportation like you'd see in things like Star Trek.

With that said, I don't think ship to ship teleportation is that much of a big deal, Space Marines have some of the best technology and they still use drop pods and boarding torpedoes and landing craft more than not because Warp Teleportation can be finicky even for them.
