Yeah that's standard.

But Warp Teleportation (and Warp Missiles etc) tend to bypass shields except for Void Shields as Scooby Doo says. So it's an inverse of the standard that shields should block teleportation like you'd see in things like Star Trek.

With that said, I don't think ship to ship teleportation is that much of a big deal, Space Marines have some of the best technology and they still use drop pods and boarding torpedoes and landing craft more than not because Warp Teleportation can be finicky even for them.
Doesen't 40k ONLY have warp shields though? From battlefleet gothic the only other things are holofields that Eldar have. But those aren't shields and more like stealth camo.

Oh interesting, for some reason I assumed the Imperium used Ion Shields like the Imperial Knights did. Or some sort of generic power shield. Guess I assumed wrong. :p

Gellar fields are what they use to traverse the Warp.
Void shields sre what they use.

Yes and no orks and chaos don’t use gellar fields. The gellar field is used to put a bubble of real space around the ship in the warp to keep out demons it doesn’t make you go ftl or into the warp. They have warp drives for that but you do need both warp drives and gellar fields if you want to travel the warp without fighting demons at the same time.
