So I found this video while browsing youtube and it goes into some detail the level of eruptions of Volcanoes and Super Volcanoes. It really put into perspective the kind of sheer power Volcanic eruptions have. It was...eye opening, to say the least. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

A new supervolcano would be a great way to fight Global Warming. When Tambora cooked off it threw 40-50 cubic miles of material into the atmosphere. We got the Year of No Summer out of it.

Oddly enough even though volcanoes throw hundreds of millions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, the amount of total CO2 drops dramatically after a supervolcano. I've seen a lot of research like that where scientists struggle to explain why pumping half a billion tons of CO2 in the atmosphere makes the total amount of CO2 drop. Said scientists just need to ask a farmer, I recall after Mt St. Helens erupted everybody was plowing the ash into their fields as fast as they could to get the ridiculous amount of nutrients it contains into the soil. You get one sickly year as the ash blocks out the sun and then every plant on earth or in the sea goes Super-Saiyan.

I read somewhere that all the extra CO2 we've pumped into the Atmosphere has infact added as extra food to plants currently on the Earth. Its actually accelerated plant and Tree growth.

This isn't exactly news though.

Fact is that scientists simply know fuck all. AGW is a cult with so many academic reputations and research grants tied with it that it is mainstream dogma. Same as the supposedly genocidal Covid 19 paqndemic.
Emperor's new clothes and all that ...

I'm surprised that it had that effect. Any chemical or biological reaction is limited by the least available ingredient, and I thought that would be water or nutrients like phosphorus in most places.

I will note that super volcanoes doing a series of realtivly(at least for their size) minor eruptions which would relieve the pressure and make a big boom far less likely is actually more likely to occur than one big boom
... But that would be less entertaining.

Normally it would, but excess free bio-available nitrogen has increased Haber-Bosch (?) process was invented for ag purposes.

As for Supervolcano's themselves, those are the ones at VEI 7-8; anything below that doesn't get labelled as a 'super-eruption' in geology lit.

Also, freshly fallen ash is some of the best fertilizer there is, once tilled into the soil. So when Yellowstone goes, have drone drozers and tiller work it into the ground as it falls, instead of letting it pile up. Use sweepers blades/drones to keep roof's and road clear, while moving ash to collection points for later use. We can make Yellowstone going off into a planned inconvience for parts of the US and Canada, and make sure enough supplies, and supply routes, are in place to keep things operational. Biggest issue is the water supplies; once those get ash in them they basically become concrete, so need lot of water tanks.
