Considering the sheer amount of damage that Twitter has done to the public discourse and public sphere, that wouldn't be sufficient to what I would do if I could buy up Twitter.
Me, personally, I'd buy it up, shut it ALL DOWN, nuke the entire website from everywhere, and then sit a patent and copyright camp everything that made Twitter work in the hopes of preventing its resurrection under a new name.
Twitter has done more damage to public discourse and reporting in this country than any other form of social media. It is a large part of why politics have become so toxic. It's a core part of enabling and spreading cancel culture. It's a core part of the far left bubble that has radicalized media and academia. Twitter, structurally, is DESIGNED to create bubbles and inhibit actual discourse, which requires longer comments and not playing to the crowd. Instead, it encourages quick takes that receive applause and spread among those who agree with you, thus instead of dialog with people who disagree with you, you instead use them as punching bag targets for kudos from your own side.
It's toxic, it's destructive, and it should be shut down and prevented from resurrecting.
