Paul Singer, who once opposed but now fully backs Trump, has bought a large stake in Twitter and is pressuring to get CEO Jack Dorsey booted out on his ass. :ROFLMAO:

I'm finding this goddamn hilarious: SJW and Leftist Twitter might be getting a huge wake-up call.

In addition, as a commentator said: will the Twitter moderators stick to their ideal-backed 'principles', or will they hypocritically change their tune due to moolah -- The Almighty Dollar?

Hopefully this guy does NOT censor the Left’s opinions, he just stops the Lefties within from censoring the Right or anybody’s

And proceeds to constantly use whatever the Left says against them

I think you Republicans should know your enemy’s own greatest enemy isn’t you, but themselves

I think this would be the best nut-punch to Democrats and Leftists: it'd hit their idealizations that if you're not "one of them", you're "evil"/censoring/oppressive in some way (an 'ist', a 'phobe', et cetera) right at their core.

That your enemy is “just as bad” as you would be a surprise to the guys who make things like that Tv Show/cartoon “Our Cartoon President” which weirdly enough portrays the Democrats as crazies and incompetents themselves

Oh no, where will Moviebob, Spoony, Boogie2988, Tariq Nashid, Saira Rao, Lindsay Ellis, Kurt Eichenwald, Tim Wise, Brianna Wu, Jeff Holiday, Contrapoints, and most of Breadtube go to do nothing but post social media takes now!?

They can say they were kicked off or feel like they were being discriminated against, they won’t outright show evidence course

They will just go do it on Youtube or maybe Reddit

Politicizing the economy was a really bad mistake one the SJW crowd will pay dearly for because they lack restraint, lack ethics, are fundamentally bad at business and make enemies where ever they go.

Thats not a recipie for long term power thats a recipe for the real world coming to smack you outside your head.

Well, despite some companies bowing to these morons and changing their products according to their values for "woke points", they've still pissed off Everyman Joe/Jane, too.

They just have to wait for that “Wider Audience” to show up

Any moment now

Wait, there were members of the “wider audience” around before but they left with our former “target audience” for very similar reasons?

WHAT!?!?

A really bitter and vengeful part of me really wants these censorious fucks to get a taste of their own medicine, but... yeah, your way is probably better in the long run for society. I haven't totally given up on peaceful dialogue yet.

Peaceful dialogue results in democrats who are no longer considered democrats

Guys like Tim Pool who still say they won’t vote for Trump and say that they still believe in socialist goals or methods but only in “moderate” ways

It's hard to have a "peaceful dialogue" when one side is dishonest and unscrupulous, and flips over the table like a rampaging chimpanzee once their hypocrisy and double-standards are exposed.

You get it every now and then, I mean I think Jordan Peterson had talks with Leftists who were surprisingly nice and civil who asked why he only eats beef with no condiments even

Keep in mind that Singer is capitalist E Evil. He ruins companies, towns and industries to make personal profit.

Whatever he does with Twitter will probably not good for anyone, left or right.

You mean the sort that loots the place and uses it to buy another place and loots it to keep repeating?

Like EA and how it ruins videogame companies

His 'ruining' is simply buying bankrupt companies debt and forcing them to pay in full. Oh no, he's making them keep their promises. How evil. What a villainous capitalist.

I would have more sympathy if this wasn't one of those services that would ban you for saying "you know who" name. So even if he does come in and strip mines the place, well I would be happy if he was stopped especially if the tactic was made illegal, as it is pretty destructive. But in this particular instance I have little sympathy.

The very beginning about this is about people setting aside wealth to make the world better. Singer is one of the many Billionaires who have made the giving pledge and is planning on giving away half of it. So if anything, he is one of the American wealthy that Tucker approves of.

Second, forcing a country to pay its debt is a good thing. That country made a promise, why shouldn't it keep its promise? I don't think this is a bad thing at all.

Third, vulture capitalism is a good thing, just like actual vultures and carrion feeders are an important part of the ecosystem. They take dying companies and by asset-stripping, they keep part of the company alive permanently, saving jobs that otherwise would have ended with the death of the company. I addressed this exact same video in another thread on vulture capitalism, which is where we should move this conversation so as not to cause a derail:
I'll be honest, I really don't like Tucker. If you ignore his culture views, his economics is basically socialism. This destruction of 'distressed' companies is a good thing. It's part of the process of creative destruction, where old companies who can't keep up must die off. This die off is a good thing, that keeps innovation happening, and preventing company die offs means giving special advantages to companies or corporate welfare. When CNN and many newspapers die off for being trash heaps that can't keep up with internet news, this will open up space for new ideas and companies.

What vulture capitalism does is seeing that a company might be crap and out competed, but parts are still good. So it gets rid of all the crap, and cannibalizes what is salvageable. It's ugly, but necessary. Without it, the whole company would die a few years down the road. With it, the company dies now, but parts of it are saved and used productively, so some people get to keep their jobs.

Vulture capitalism isn't your normal hatchet-firm, which are the ones who do the "gut everything even vaguely poor-performing" stuff. Vulture capitalism is when you do shit like take a leveraged buyout, then liquidate half the company's operational infrastructure, then walk off as it collapses under needing to pay off its own stock value with a small fraction of the income it had before.

Vulture capitalism isn't part of the "Creative Destruction" process, it's defined by being ripping out the wealth. It's killing off companies in their entirety to line the pockets of stock holders immediately. It's part of the golden parachute bullshit, not the market cleanup process.
