A woman stole almost a million dollars in Australian from the Veterinary Hospital she worked at in Tasmania. Apparently at least twenty four thousand dollars worth of that 680,000 USD that she stole was then spent, or perhaps invested in, online gambling. But the mobile game she was playing only paid out in tokens and other in-game items that cannot be exchanged for real world currency.

Lee Price III of Texas was sentenced to almost a decade in prison for money laundering and wire fraud charges in which he used the identity of a deceased individual to receive a 1.6 million dollar Covid Relief Loan.

Price used some of the ill-gotten gains to buy a Lamborghini Urus, a Ford F-350 truck and a Rolex watch, the DOJ said.

The DOJ said authorities have recovered over $700,000 in the fraudulently obtained money.

Defund the Police advocate Congresswoman Cori Bush's car was hit by gunfire while in her home state of Missouri today.

Bush’s vehicle was parked in the St. Louis area when it was hit by gunfire Saturday morning, a local NBC affiliate reported. A source told the outlet that there was evidence that someone had tampered with the door handles of other cars in the vicinity at the time of the shooting. It is not believed that Rep. Bush was targeted, the source told the NBC affiliate.

Apparently the fight which involved upwards of forty people started because some asshole cut in line and got the last of the steak at the buffet, of which there was a shortage. Other say that some got the last steak because they ordered it rare instead of well done.

Florida woman Jasmine Martinez uses pandemic loan to hire hitman to murder rival

Jasmine Martinez allegedly used money from a pandemic relief loan to pay a gunman to kill Le’Shonte Jones in a broad-daylight attack outside her home.

Martinez had withdrawn more than $10,000 in the days before the shooting, after she netted $15,000 from the federal government she applied for to help her single-employee beauty salon, according to an arrest warrant cited by the Miami Herald.

Police also arrested alleged middleman Romiel Robinson and alleged hitman Javon Carter in relation to the murder of Jones, a Transportation Security Administration worker. Carter had allegedly filmed a video of himself counting cash just hours after Jones was shot multiple times, according to arrest warrants.

“Just another day at the office,” Carter said on the video, according to the Herald.

Just to illustrate that the Hitman, a TSA worker, is acting like a sociopath.

The story is significantly less amusing then the headline since it was a successful hit that also injured a three year old who I guess witnessed her Mom being murdered in broad daylight.

A 15 year old TikToker named Ava Majury had her home attacked by an eighteen year old stalker who was armed with a shotgun. Ava's father was able to shoot and kill the stalker when he attempt to invade their home.

Ava has over 1.2 million followers and 57 million likes across all her videos. Her earliest TikToks date back to April 2020, and most of her content featured her lip-syncing to audios and dancing.

On the day of the shooting, she posted a video of her mouthing the words to a slow-motion version of French Montana's "Unforgettable." She shared another lip sync video the next day, and then took a five-day break from posting TikToks, resuming her regular frequency after that.

The Majurys were shaken after the event and temporarily lived at a friend's house, according to the Times.

Ava's mother, Kim Majury, told The Times her daughter was still active online because they didn't want to allow "sick individuals" to keep her from using social media and told the newspaper, "maybe she's meant to bring awareness to all this."
