I hope the kids he hurt don't have lasting injuries. A newborn infant is already having a rough day and getting evicted from mommy's belly also ain't fun for mommy.

Initially, I read it as police breaking his jaw when they confronted him. Too bad I read it wrong, because even ignoring the charges inevitably coming his way, a good socking where it hurts most is the least he deserves.

The famous vigilante group known as the Guardian Angels are making the news again.
A trio of Guardian Angels were on the Subway and intervened in a pair of mental health episodes. In the first case, they saw a woman being threatened by a mentally ill man (who was holding a baby? wtf?) and escorted the Woman to safety without incident.
In the second incident a man and woman were yelling and assaulting an elderly commuter when the Guardian Angel Trio intervened, offering the aggressive couple the immediate mental health counseling they clearly were crying out for.
Their founder Curtis Sliwa, recently ran on the Republican Ticket for Mayor of New York City, winning 28% of the vote on a pretty moderate platform of 'Funding the Police", property tax reform and fiscal restraint.

From what I learned of Sea Turtle Culture watching the documentary Finding Nemo I find this behavior to be unsurprising.
A small boat deployed from the US Coast Guard Cutter Thetis whilst engaged in a counter-drug patrol in the Eastern Pacific apparently came upon a field of debris which turned out to be a sea turtle who had been entangled within multiple bundles of cocaine. It was later revealed to be about 1800 pounds of cocaine woth over $50 million dollars. The Coast Guard was able to free the sea turtle from several dozen feet of line that caused some chafing injuries on the poor reptile.
The Sea Turtle was reportedly released on their own recognizance. No charges have been filed against the Turtle at this time.
