Honestly of mixed opinion there.

Obviously a pair of politicos going and being a distraction and security concern and everythign else in the midst of all the shit is kind of crap.
On the other hand, the Pentagon and higher-up politicos reporting on the situation can't be trusted to say anything resembling the truth, and firsthand accounts are infinitely better at reporting and knowing the situation.
