Web Content People Worth Listening To

Who do you think is a good producer of content and commentary on politics and current events? I'd love recommendations.

I'll go first.

I like Tim Pool, as noted in his thread here.

I just ran into this PhD. Eve Keneinan. Her motto is “Iūstitia Sociālis dēlenda est” or “social justice must be destroyed”. Be still my beating heart!

I have minor problems with putting a lot of other people on this list.
  1. Jordan Peterson has been battling chronic illness for months and is probably on his deathbed, so obviously not producing new stuff, he also tends to hit the same few talking points over and over again. The except in his biblical analysis series.
  2. Variety stuff like the Rogan and Ruben shows are good but inconsistent in content, they talk to a lot of different people about a lot of different things, which can make the average episode uninteresting.
  3. I've seen Michael Knowles around in a few interviews, but I haven't seen enough of his stuff to form a basis of trust in him personally yet.

Probably the best kind of person you can listen to regarding US police matters, albeit, he does argue/or include a bit of his faith into some commentary but ultimately his experience throughout the policing world does give him certain levels of viability on the topic that non-officer commentators might have.

Contrapoints. Very wrong on a lot of things, but interesting to listen too, and a good way of figuring out what the progressive left believes on their core values. Ben Shapiro, for when I want the typical conservative take on something. Arielle Scarcella, a lesbian youtuber who just left the left, and is actively drifting right. Freedom Toons, for short funny clips about politics.

If you are working at home, I'd suggest Rekita Law. He is informative, but also has a tendency to digress and go off track with various jokes, resulting in long streams that are perfect for playing in the background and only pay attention when he gets to a good joke or interesting point.

When discussing legal cases, he covers the actual art of the lawyer such as dealing this the Judge being an idiot and juries being the least common denominator, rather than only discussing legal theory.

I've been listening to Ravi Zacharias a lot lately. He died just a few weeks ago, but he left behind a large body of Evangelical writings and sermons that will take me years to get through.
And since he spoke of Christian apologetics, they will never get dated. His examples may grow old, but the arguments themselves are timeless.

David Freiheit or Viva Frei is pretty good, he is like a Canadian Rekita Law or like Legal Eagle and not a partisan hack. In fact he is entirely non-partisan and 90% sure he took down Legal Eagle a couple times. Also he has cute doggos, just like Styx has cute kitties.
