I'll also say that there is a huge difference between actual pedophiles and adults who are just going through enough of a mid-life crisis / immature enough to be willing to date teenagers.

If you're a forty year old dating a 19 year old, you're a goofy motherfucker who should move the needle up ten years. But I wouldn't exactly call you depraved, just weird.

I second that. I am having difficult times finding people of my age that are interested me (regardless if it is just sex or a serious commitment) and the ones who approached me recently tended to be 15-18 years old, hell I had one girl I am tutoring putting both of her hands on my pants and she also turned eighteen two weeks ago.

What I am going to do with this ? Fuck knows. I just know most guys above 18 wouldn't have the same ethical issues like me, dating with a decade or more of difference, one who had basically one night stands after the other and like only two considerable relationship. So I am starting to question if I would have to just stop caring, dropping that part of my moral ethical code and composure.

Whats the point? A girl twenty years removed from your age even if she were legal may as well be from another planet in terms of the differences between you two.

By teenagers, do you mean 18-19 (or 16-19/17-19 if the age of consent is 16/17 rather than 18) or younger than 16 as well? Because that makes a huge difference here from a legal perspective.

TBH, I think that society would view a 40-year-old woman dating a 19-year-old man as being MUCH less creepy than the other way around. Sexism at work again!

I dated a Turkish girl, she was 21, one day maybe I will make even a thread about it or talk it more extensively. You are partly right about it.

It was dating someone who was actually almost a decade or more younger than me. Because Turco-Islamic culture isn't the most open in terms of intimacy or that leaves room for personal growth, from what she told me even if their parents met each other virgin and had her and then her brother, in Izmir they can just hold hands in public and give each a small soft kiss on the lips.

Mentally, she was much younger than me.
