Oh no, not again - a UK WWII ISOT

Poland had plans for defending small part of our territory on Romania border in case of defeat. And,if soviets do not come,we would do so.Here, with modern England,it would keep us fighting no matter if soviets come or not.

This is the area marked in Yellow, this is the so-called Romanian forebridge, it was to be the final bastion of the Polish Army which was to be maintained until the French and British Armies struck from the West.

No. Transylvania is on the other side of the Carpathians. That place was always Halych/Poland.
At certain points in time Transylvania extended northward and was just across the mountains, in the currently Hungarian Carpathian Ruthenia.

Yeah, the highlighted area borders Moldavia more than Transylvania.

I guess I just said it looked like that because it makes a jagged border. In Medieval/renaissance times Transylvania had a rough, jagged northwest border, not the smooth, curvy border of the Transylvanian subdivision of Habsburg Hungary or of Romanian Transylvania. It looked like it 'vanted to bite the neck' of some neighboring country. (evil laugh like Bela Lugosi)
