What If? Numenor finds itself in Berserk during the 100 years war?

Okay

Say, you think Numenoreans could fight and kill off a good portion of the monsters?

Cannonfire seems effective against Jotuns
Depending on how you measure Numenoreans, yes, I think they'd be militarily more than a match for the various monsters we've seen, and a significant military force in general, at least top three among Neo-Falconia and Kushan, but where they fall there is difficult to say without knowing at least something about the size of the armies they could project. Wether Kushan is mightier in a direct fight is somewhat immaterial as Numenor could counterattack them more or less entirely by surprise while they were already tied up with their invasion, or cut around behind their overextended army by sea and force them to fight on two fronts with their logistics train severed. Numenor I believe could shift the balance of the war decidedly in favor of the defenders, if they were so inclined. A brief confrontation with the mountain sized Ganishka monster could be disastrous, though that was true for the army supporting him as well.

Even with the presence of the Istari (or particularly considering the presence of Saruman) I would not discount the strong possibility of the Numenorean leadership being subtly subverted by the God Hand, particularly because being cajoled by a pretty god monster until they woke up one day having murder orgies is literally what they're famous for.

Really I just want my fic of Gandalf and Mozgus hanging out.

Mozgus either ends up trying to kill and torture him
Probably not, he wouldn't appear to be guilty of anything I imagine.

Or Gandalf manages to make him be more investigatory instead of just torturing, so he could find actual evidence of the cults and its members
I mean, it would mostly depend on what evidence he could actually show him of his methods being ineffective, and what evidence he could show of their being a better way, because Mozgus was getting the cult, he was just also sweeping up random people in the way. Thats the crux of the issue, he doesnt think his methods are "perfect" but he sees no alternative, which inures him against counterarguments.

What about being a possible pagan?

Yeah, definitely will need something to properly investigate
