Its pretty good. One thing I couldnt stop noticing was one character, Naomi, had a haircut change that is terrible.

Only 2 episodes in and so far it feels like Expanse but bigger. And as always in Expanse, the people are absolute dicks!

...can I just say I really hate Marco. Like, he make me miss Mao and Errinwright as the antagonists.

It is well worth a watch. The frist three seasons where good. The show is one of the more hard science space drama but really shines in its charater development. Each side has its heros and it shows how good intentions can cause unintended consequences.

I do have say that Chrisjen Avasarala is one of the my favorite charaters. She is what a poltical power broker and spymaster is suppose to be. She make hard decisions without falling into the standard tropes.

Avasarala is one of the best parts of the show. Her dynamic with Bobbie in Season 2 and 3 was great.

Though I wish we got to see more of Prax and Mei; their dynamic with Amos was rather heartwarming.

The Expanse has been renewed for a sixth and final season!

I am kind of not surprised. They can wrap up the Mar dream doing timeline and Bealters becoming a real nation timelines fairly easily. The harder part will be the alien plotlines. The who, what and where questions about the Aliens need to be answered. They could leave it open but at some part of an answer will be needed.

But overall while I like the newest season I have to say that the show really shines when it is focus. I fee the alien plotline while helpful in setting up new dynamics between the three powers is a distraction from the best part of season one.
