New Makeup of US Congress

Thought it deserves its own thread as it's a seperate matter from the vote for the executive which is about to get complicated. Looks like the Republicans will continue to control the Senate and they've expanded their numbers in the House

So Dems packing the Supreme Court? Not happening.

Eliminating filibuster? Nope.

Raising taxes? Not likely.

Just read this

Congressional leadership changes may be in the works for Pelosi and Schumer.

Whether or not Trump wins, the Democrats have failed in advancing their far-left agenda. If Biden wins it's solely because he's a Delaware Corporation Moderate whose most passionate issue is Amtrak. The Senate is essentially safe at this point.
And if Kalama takes over as President or is the power behind the throne, so to speak?

The Chief Cop of California?

She can't simply conjure Senators from thin air.
No, she can just EO the shit out of things, and use state/local level people to enforce edicts before they can get challenged by the courts.

A red senate won't save us if Biden wins; thinking the Dems will respect the Constitutional processes at this point is suicidal foolishness.

Another amazing song about that action:

Stand Fast --Ye are the boys of Maine!

They said Collins was as good as dead for voting for Kavanaugh. Between direct donations to the democrat candidate and the super-PACs, they threw 50 million dollars in out-of-state money at her, but Maine's voters weren't duped.

The problem is that, without Trump, the neocons will likely take back control of the Republican party, and turn it into controlled opposition again.

Until the next Republican primaries produces a more articulate populist anyway. The Neocons shouldn't be thrown out with the bathwater, they are still conservatives afterall but they're not going back to what it used to be.

Every ambitious Republican politician has seen what Trump accomplished. It took a global pandemic to even leave him vulnerable to being ousted.

Ted Cruz right now is already planning his presidential run, he's impressed me the past few years after his humiliation when he went up against Trump. He's been a team player without caving straight away like a bitch, he has solid non-establishment credentials. He's a well experienced political operator and if you can imagine him going up against Biden or Harris in a debate it would be like a chainsaw going through a gerbil.

And the Republicans have many other fine options. Seriously the Republicans are the healthier party right now.

Look at the Democratic competition, for one... I mean, this election cements Nancy Pelosi's reputation as the Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna of the Democratic Party. An absurd, mendacious rat who can't win a single battle against an actual enemy while being completely impossible to remove in internal party fights.

Ted Cruz has consistently gone up against big tech censorship, an issue I care deeply about.

I do not want tech companies being the ones incharge of who gets to say what any more I am firmly sick of that.
