It’s bizarre but on some level I’m interested to see this pass just to see how it goes. I sincerely doubt it will lead to like, killing people to keep them in the company town regardless of what happened 100 years ago. A state experimenting with bizarre or new things is way better than the fed passing it after all.

It’s automatically deducted from your pay, taken from you “complimentary” mandatory corporate bank account. Just like all your other expenses are, what’s left is yours to spend.
