My gifs not appearing?

So I'm working on a respect thread and the gifs I posted seem to be disappearing?
Is it something related to the site or is the image hosted site I used is deleting my images from the internet?

Are you sure that you are clicking on the "insert image" button (not "insert link"), and you are linking to a url that ends in .gif

To follow up, I can see my Gifs when I hit edit but then they disappear when I'm done editing.
