It's hard to say with these kind of things.
When we get tested with being labelled a sexual assaulter of not only women but also those underage the pressure maybe very hard to handle.
And Vic loved his fans thriving off of their support for his work. Should they turn their backs on him he won't be going into a good mental place.
The fans were always with Vic though, he lost very little in fan support overall. What cons kept him he had massive lines to see him still. Alec on the other hand had a very leftwing, very invested in social justice fanbase. He probably lost nearly all of them from the accusations.
No one is harassing Zoe @Greengrass. We are calling her a bad person on a small internet forum, which isn't harassment but is true.

Remembering back yes. It was denying Vic the cons from all the scheming that got him unhappy. His fans who truly met him and liked him wouldn't believe the accusations but would be unable to reach him if he gets separated.

Unfortunately, many abusers know they can get away with making false allegations these days, and even profit by doing so.
Don't you know that anything less that outright prostration before each and every self-proclaimed "victim" is harassment? She can't be a bad person, because she said that someone else is a bad person first; also she belongs to the elite class, and you don't, so know your place peasant.
In case anyone can't tell, I am absolutely done with people like Greengrass who perpetuate this cycle that enables abusers to claim victimhood, while the actual victims are treated like scum. If anything can be considered a condemnation of our culture in the here and now, it's the fact that this perversion of empathy and compassion has been allowed to take hold of it.
Harassing her would be going on her Twitter or other social-media and calling her a complete cunt. Or publicly grandstanding how much of a cunt she is by using the same dirty tactics that she and her ilk use.
Calling her a cunt on a small internet forum is not harassment: it's discussion (albeit crude). And although I understand why you think this would be in contrary to his sister's statement/wishes, it just makes you look like a person who wants to silence discussion about, well, this whole thing and how much of a cunt Zoe Quinn really is.

Honestly, worst thing is, I can bet at most years from now she won't be legally or financially punished, it will just be another chapter in her life where she had the attention of the media. I do think it may be a bit of a tempest in a teapot in the tech-oriented "progressive forward" industries though, which because of a natural tension between their progressive inclinations and their libertarian, hyper-masculine "bro culture" pretensions see these kinds of conflicts and swings. In traditional, conservative industries and places of employment, people noticed altogether very little of this. "transgender training" for us, for example, consisted of a single powerpoint slide being e-mailed to everyone and an e-mail acknowledgement back that you had read it. I suppose some people actually did.
It's a very vocal tempest though, and it's causing big waves/ripples. It's beginning to affect society in a broader way.
Out of curiosity, what did 'transgender training' contain? Just be polite and refer to them as their preferred pronouns and don't stare as they go into the male/female bathroom, or something?
