With MJ, brevity often is the essence of wit. Try "battleship in space" use an aspect ratio of 16:9 or wider, and use the --niji 5 style.
Oh shit, that's got it. :D

I put in a bit more, though. Like "battleship in space, logh, macross, yamato, gundam".

Has anyone tried "Strogg" and "Robocop"? "Scrin" could be a good one too, since they're more biomechanical/synthetic lifeforms than true cyborgs.

Given the results we've seen about other cyborgs, like the T-800, Borg, Cybermen, et cetera, they could generate some interesting results?

Oh, I like the first and second ones.

The first looks vaguely Star Wars Imperial/late Republic, and the second looks like something the Vaygr or Hiigarans would create as a type of specialized destroyer.

The closest I've come to a spheroid dropship. What I'm failing at is the relative sizes. This is probably barely a quarter the size of a Union class. MJ does not understand size commands.

I'm pretty impressed with these Starships. They suffer a bit from being all bricks but honestly not any more, perhaps even significantly less, than human-produced art (flying brick spaceships is a pet peeve of mine).

Flying bricks are my favorite. No drag in space means your armor plating can be any shape you want, really.

These are "red battleship in space, flying brick, angular armor, heavy armor, sinister, realistic, cinematic, moody lighting --ar 16:9 --niji 5"

Oh wait, disregard that last one, that's a Rokh, lol.

Actually, did you know that MJ can do image-to-image? Quite easy. Just PM the bot, send it a picture, and then click and drag that picture into the prompt along with your text, and it'll use it as an image prompt.

This is what it puts out when prompted with a Rokh:

This is the same prompt, but with an image of a UNSC Destroyer, instead:

I should probably clarify my meaning there, I don't have a problem with non-aerodynamic ships. A flying brick, in my mind, is where the artist drew a rectangle, cylinder, or sometimes if they're imagination, a hexagonal prism, and then just added some lights and maybe antennae and pretended it was a good design.

I don't care for boxes or cylinders, I want to see the guns and turrets, see the hangar bays, see the engines, see a distinctive shape. If I can't recognize your ship from its silhouette against the sun, and it looks like two dozen other artist's bricks aside from maybe an antenna or two in that situation, I don't think it's a good design.

This is, of course, very much a matter of my own taste and a rather petty objection to many designs.

On the red ships, add "Vaygr"?

I'm curious to know if it'll spit something out close to the original Homeworld 2 concept art of the Vaygr, since those ships look real damn close to concept art painted back in '01/'02 (Vaygr ship concepts before they were redesigned in '03 were blocky, had a red paint scheme, and the shapes of the hull are visually similar). I tried using just the prompt:

It looked pretty much the same.

But then, I tried having it do image-to-image of the actual art.

The colors were not exactly consistent, but the result was very recognizably "Homeworldish".

#1 looks Vaygr, right down to the angled profile
#2 looks more Hiigaran
#3 is an odd toss-up between the two
And the final two are more Hiigaran than Vaygr in design language

If you'd have posted this back in '02, this would've been reported as official concept art. They look so damn alike to Rob C's concept language.

That last one has some serious Vaygr Battlecruiser vibes going on.

Also, I managed to get Stable Diffusion running locally on my 4090 using AUTOMATIC1111. It's hilariously fast. As in, it spits out four 1024x1024 images in around 18 seconds.

The first one looks Hiigaran -- the bow looks like a super ion cannon frigate's weapon.

Yeah, the last one is definitely a Vaygr super battlecruiser of a type.

Those Twilight pics look weird. I mean, the muzzle and teeth on the first one...

Also, only 18 seconds for 4 images? That's insane.

A bit off topic but would you want to help me out with my alternate history timeline? I would need a couple of generated images that regard space.

Maybe slightly more. @*THASF*
