Guess I need to be prepared for a trip to the sun as I think that Undertaker is the GOAT of WWE.

but yeah. Wrestling is dead because larger than life characters, physically ot gimmick wise are not allowed to be at the center, they exist. Asuka and Braun Strowman, not to mention the Bray Wyatt, but they sideline them in favor of either aging stars, or UFC lite charterers.

Asuka and Wyatt have probably gotten the most gypped out of anyone. She didn't have a single clean win her reign and it seems like right when they are going to do something with the fiend, they either straight up bury him, or they put him on the back burner.

Also am I the only one that wants to see the so called Monday Night Messiah face off against a "True demon king" Finn Balor and get punished Undertaker or Kane Style?

I don't really want Finn Balor as Demon King to get some face credit though. You'd have to be very careful in writing it. I'm pissed what they did with Asuka though. I hope she gets the title back soon, but I don't have much hope. At the very least bring back Alexa Bliss as a heel. She might not be larger than life (she's not larger than a lot of things), but she's a great heel.

What the WWE needs are better announcers. If I hear "Oh My God!" one more time from Michael Cole, I'm going to scream. And then there's the 3 way commentating on Raw which just doesn't work.

I'm just remembering the time Ultimate Warrior's magical ghost was haunting Hulk Hogan and one announcer could see it and the other one couldn't like they each got a different script.

I just wish they had this inventiveness today. It seems like they've run out of ideas. The announcers make it even worse, with calling basically every match the same, making the wrestlers look the same. I got to hand it to Miz and Morrison though, they keep it interesting. Miz makes a great heel and does good promos (for this era, they are great though), while Morrison wrestles in a fun way to make up for the Miz's lack there. I'm just watching Backlash (I'm pretty behind), and they did well building heat for an obvious Strowman win. I wish I got to see the whole music video though

So I got to hand it to WWE. As I've mentioned before, I'm about a month and a half behind. But the June 15th episode of Raw was just great. Everything was well done, there was a good overarching story (Christian maybe fighting Orton) that set up future stories, Dominic Mysterio did great in his little thing with Seth Rollins, etc. All the stories were great. The wrestling, there wasn't anything really exceptional, but I'll give that a pass on nothing terrible either (though the Orton/Christian fight was perfect). At least the stories were all good and engaging (other than Lana's, but whatever).

So I figure I'll continue with my reviews. I just started watching NXT, and @Hastur of Carcosa , you might enjoy it more. They are more willing to deal with larger than life figures. They don't go all out, but they do play with it a lot. Smackdown of June 19th was a letdown though. The fighting was all meh at best (other than Asuka vs Charlotte, that was good.).

Yeah, seeing an eye actually pop out would have been really good. But Idk if I'd like them to do it, because it would be the first time they tried, and it might look bad (also, it wouldn't have been live). I'd keep watching smackdown, btw, they are really expanding on the supernatural Bray Wyatt/The Fiend.
