Hortler is correct about this being a deliberate attack on standards, but there are also two other factors involved

Firstly its an act of humiliation. You are made to submit, to say and affirm things you know are false. They are telling you that they have the power to force this on you, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Secondly this is what is known as Bioleninism. Bioleninism is a neoreactionary concept. Basically, in leninism you produce an administrative caste out of the underclasses. In bioleninism you do the same, but instead of socioeconomic classes you use the biological fringes..gays, trans, handicapped, minorities etc etc. This relationship is really more of a client patron relationship.
While the Patrons have all the real power, they give the clients the right to police the middle, and the clients are very zealous at doing this, both for reasons of petty revenge and because if the middle regains power, the client classes will be back on the bottom.

Thus the system is not merely robust, its actually antifragile. It actually benefits from the clients abusing and alienating the middle. The more alienated the middle and client classes are from each other the more the client classes have to depend on their patrons. The more chaos the client classes create, the more excuses the patron classes have to expand their power at the expense of the middle. The middle become subject to anarcho-tyranny..tyranny from above, anarchy from below.

Thats why rioters are allowed to riot, but family picnics are broken up for covid-19.

Fetishization of the ugly and broken is a manifestation of bioleninism. Its a way to flex on you, to humiliate you, to alienate you and provide the client classes with opportunities to police you and snitch on you. Its their reward for joining the winning side.

Basically, vanguards/elites/patrons gain losers allegiance with bribes and positions and being able to do whatever they want and in exchange, they oppress the majority of non-losers but not elites and the losers must continue to support their masters cause they only have what they have cause their masters are their masters as otherwise the middle as above poster calls them would kick out the losers and throw them back into the fringes/deserts.

Our elites are unique in world history in that they do not seek order, but rather rule with chaos.
 
TLDR: You recruit those on the fringes to oppress and police the middle. The deviants, fringes, and underclass are loyal to the elite because if the system falls, they fall.

This means they have every incentive to go along with whatever the elite tell them.

The deviants, underclasses and outsiders-hate the normal common people, resent them, and want petty revenge on them. The elite fear that the normal wholesome good people will sooner or later decide they don't need the elite.

Because there are overall two definitions of cult:
-A generic pejorative for religions
-A group of people who revere something in particular.
The first is just chauvinism, which means that only the second matters. Therefore to be a cult they need to worship someone, or something, but everyone who is too deviant is replaced or softly ignored depending on how much influence they hold as an active person. Powerful members of the mainstream left are the only persisting individuals and even they strategically hide themselves from adoration. There isn't even a coherent set of priorities for the horde, any minority gets special status for the rest for a time no matter what ill will lies between them, and it's usually an exclusive selection of the most marketable ones.

I suspect bioleninism will be succeeded by a stalin figure that arises to bring order by purging the chaos elements from power. This will end bioleninism.

I also foresee that bioleninism itself may be turned on its head. Eventually the loot will run out and the coalition will begin to fray as the various factions squabble. One of the factions on the losing side of these squabbles will begin looking around for allies, and they will notice a huge, seething and alienated mass of mass of whites, ripe for mobilisation....

Unlikely. I have always seen this talk of white people rising up as Cope. Whites have been shown to hate their own ethnicity unlike every other ethnicity where they look favorable at their own. Whites have spent the most time in college where they are taught to self hate and become the weirdos that form the soldiers of bio leninism.

The impetus wont be from white leadership. I believe very strongly that white elites are fundamentally worthless. It will come from a minority group that is looking for allies. Whites will become 'clients' of this group.

This is outright wrong. Some whites show an inverse relationship between ingroup and outgroup preferences, that group is specifically white liberals, not whites as a whole. And white liberals don't even make up a majority of whites in the US.

They provide the sort of illusion of it though, course it seems it’s because they’re the most vocal online and IRL and have the most focus from news media

Might I suggest watching some of TheFourthAge's videos? Admittedly, I think some of his talk gets far fetched and involves stuff regarding Nietzsche I don't exactly understand due to not having read them, but he seems to have an understanding of why ugliness is embraced

Just so you know, I think "ugly" is actually also really "cheap" and "easy" to do unless it's with some sort of style like with One Piece
