While I am not usually a fan of censor ship, I do think that some kinds of anime should be or just not released in the USA. I think that obscenity should not be covered by freedom of speech, at least to some extent. I've seen too much of how the slippery slope is real.

All of these are some of the most popular or oldest anime America has had access to.

In addition to all the testosterone lowering and hormone altering things in our food and environment - which dis proportionally affects males in a negative way compared to females - it seems that for more and more "lesser males"; and by lesser I mean smaller physically, less masculine/athletic, less testosterone even by today's standards ect., it is an easier choice socially to try to be or mimic a female, than to try to be a respected male. I have known many pairs of siblings - a sister and a brother - both with the EXACT SAME GENETICS, they look practically identical gender swapped versions of each other, where the sister is a conventionally attractive girl who has men everywhere interested in her at any given time (except, of course the giga chad she is thirsting for); while, the brother on the other hand is a border line incel if not full on incel. so, so many times I have seen this and it has made me realize that the genetics to produce attractive females is cheap and easy in nature; while the genetics to produce attractive, athletic and potentially dominant males is expensive in nature and relatively uncommon. so, I ask: why, in hyper feminist, post industrial societies where most men are surplus at this point and taught they are useless and evil, would more and more of these lower ranking, "twink" borderline incel males, not take a good objective look at the social successes of his sister who has the EXACT SAME GENETICS as him, and say to himself: "hey, if I took hormone alterers and dressed like a girl, I could look exactly like her! and I would go from being an invisible, mocked member of society, into a catered to, fun having female!"

from that perspective it actually makes some sense. and even in ancient times, if you were a weak, "twink" male, in some social cercumstances that allow it, it might be better to be the femboy fucktoy of an alpha male warlord, than to just have what happens to other weak and twink men in such times, that is slavery or likely a savage death. it is a form of submission where these males realize they have no chance of competing with the alpha males of society and come to the conclusion that being some kind of imitation of a female is better than their current lot in life. and, apparently, some men like to fuck them and this has been the case for thousands of years
