Breaking News Leader of ISIL killed in Idlib

"Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State, dies at 48" (actual Washington Post headline)

His religious scholarship was not his reputation or life works. By pointing to him first as a religious scholar rather than his most important defining role (the leader of ISIS) they are not being neutral, they're purposely identifying him as a religious rather than political figure.
Garbage paper, garbage journalists, garbage headlines.
ORANGE MAN BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really it does seem like if Trump cured cancer, they would still shit on him and bitch about how Doctors are out of work.

Well, that parody didn't take long to come true.

I am not going to believe it was him until we get dna tests or something confirmed.

This guy got away too many times.
My understanding is that they got both tissue, and because his head was rather intact, they likely also got dental record confirmation as well.

I understand the sceptism, as this guy had an almost Kane-like tendency to pop up after being declared dead, but it sounds like this time is different because they did it with ground troops who had enough time and security to do a proper ID of the body on the spot. Plus, and it's morbid as fuck, but the three children he took with him also likely could provide additional DNA confirmation of his identity.
