I did like the bits stating how America wasn't just a Democracy, but also in many respects a 'Gerontacracy,' 'Meritocracy' and the rich people one... uhhh 'plutocracy.' It was a nice point to make that it's not just the easily defined system of government that defines a government type or the form it may take. There's still plenty of other influences as well and it's important to note who the rulers are as well the form of government they 'serve' in.
I don't want to be 'that guy' but it's spelled Isaac with two A's not two S's look at the thread title it's misspelled imagine if Isaac Arthur himself came around here!

I was really dissapointed with this video. Fleet culture is one of the best answers space gives us for society, and he basically glosses over it in favor of a colony-ship system. At least half of the video is based around the idea of autonimous colony ships which can replicate more of themselves, which is not even really all that related to the concept of a nomadic fleet based society.

There are a lot of videos on YT about this. Skeptics and believers all.
Some say it’s aliens, others government psyops, others mundane aerial phenomena, and some give more exotic explanations still.
Personally I don’t think it’s going to convince anybody one way or another. But something is clearly happening.

Something I've been wondering since these videos were released. Are there any explanations for the Fermi Paradox that allow for alien visitation on Earth while also explaining why there is zero evidence of alien life in the heavens? I'm not aware of any, nor can I think of any, though the video did suggest that if you have clarke tech then most of the signs of high technology that we would look for would have no reason to exist.

I can believe government psyops/disinformation as a real possibility. For what end? Who knows. It doesn’t seem to be worth the effort honestly to either convince the public its aliens when it’s actually either mirages or super advanced aircraft. (What does convincing the public really achieve in either case)?
If it isn’t merely illusions or radar misreadings and isn’t mundane every day phenomena like birds, weather balloons, and maybe ball lightning than I don’t know what it could be?
Projections? That would fit under the psyop category but I still fail to see the point.
Demonic entities? As has been discussed before? I’d believe that about the greys, perhaps. Not this video footage.
