Hiring illegals in this way defrauds the state and locality of tax revenue and of social security premiums needed for ongoing funding. If the politicals weren't in the monied interests of those profiting by illegal labor they might take notice and do something. But they are often those very interested parties themselves.

In April, both countries signed a controversial immigration deal to take those who enter the UK illegally to Rwanda.
Not sure how cost effective this is but apparently other countries are looking into deporting asylum seekers to countries like this as well.
Hmm...I wonder if they'll take ours too?

Funny thing, the first country to make such deal was Israel, almost a decade ago, but then Merkel interjected and offered the Germany to take these immigrants (mostly Eritreans) instead.
