Yeah criminal charges. Not ethics violations by some committee. Plus it's a two year term. He has less than a year left. The issue can correct itself politically.

This is all very sad. George Santos is the first Republican Congressman I would gladly call LatinX. I will never forget the (partially Islamist fueled) homophobic bigotry largely from the Democrats that got him removed from office.

Again, it's *literally written in the Constitution itself* that Congress has the rightful authority to set its own chamber rules. This is absolutely playing by the rules, and it was a bipartisan supermajority that voted to expel Santos.

Yeah we know. No one beer is arguing about the process merely that conservatives seem to be cucks by voting to kick one of their own but not doing it to democrats.

Then again to have that many politicians hate you this guy must either be a great guy who called them out or a terrible piece of shit even worse than they are.

He's a Queer Brazilian-American who in a surprising performance managed to oust the previously Democrat held open Congressional which covers part of Long Island. It was all the more impressive because George Santos was basically a nobody and it seemed like he had just run a really good grassroots style campaign.

It later turned out he lied about everything, has a history of lying about everything to cover up his plethora of prior indiscretions and was indicted for lots and lots of campaign finance fraud for which he will be facing trial for.
