And do you realize my point? As bad as the media is now, it was just as bad fifty years ago, and had more power and control.

Now, in spite of the tech-giant crackdown, there's still plenty of alternate media available, and the MSM's credibility continues to plummet.

It's not a good situation. It's not as good a situation as it was four years ago. But it's massively better than it was thirty, forty, or fifty years ago.

The Truth got Reagan into office, it broke decades of Democrat control of the legislature in the 90's, it destroyed Hillary's campaign, and it's destroying the Biden campaign right now.

I disagree, the media as a whole was no where near as bad, they didn't piss on your face and call you a 'white supremacist' for disagreeing for starters.

Alternative media? That stuff that visa and advertisers refuse to do business with? That alternate media?

We had a country that still valued the truth with Reagan, we were lucky with Clinton and we still don't know with Biden. The truth is not controlled by you or me, only by moneyed interests with agendas. So what if the right has the truth? Just like Vietnam in your example, the media controls truth.

So, in conclusion, if Biden says everything then anyone can use legitimate quotes to back their own position. He says fund AND defund depending on what seems more popular at the moment. This is either fantastic evidence for media collusion or dementia, otherwise one would expect a career politician to recognize that what they say is being recorded and will follow them for life.

The only reason that the Democrat Party was able to over the course of less than 20 years, even though a large number of the same politicians were part of their party, turn around the perception that they were the party of racism, Jim Crow, and Segregation, is because of that media control.

That would not be possible in the here and now, because their monopoly on media has been broken.

The internet and freedom of information are an anomaly not the status quo. Bidens 'mental health' is wishful thinking at best. Outside of hugboxes how widespread is that opinion?
