This 'woke' gentrification is how formerly red areas turn blue. These terrible people flee the crapholes they created to the whitest place they can find, then replicate the same problems in their new towns. Suddenly a nice placid little city somewhere with a strong sense of itself is turned into mini-portland.

Honestly, may not have all the facts, but I think the WOKE tend to be middle to upper class and douchey upper class
Even if the city they live in isn’t so good, they have it better than the rest of the lower middle and working classes
Most those shopowners who’s businesses were wrecked by the riots may not have the money to fix the place up let alone move out unless they feel like working at lower paying jobs and those maybe taken by illegals who are willing to work for less
This is ironically shaping up to be reasons for a class war
Y'know, with how Hollywood loves demonizing the flyover-states, I'm surprised there haven't been movies about conservative towns and villages murdering city-slickers to preserve their culture yet.

They come from bourgeois strivers, mostly people in, or who are looking to join the ruling managerial classes. These people have no real identity beyond thier status, so will readily adopt any ideology that allows them to signal thier status.

While based on racial segregationist beliefs, the American Colonialist Society honestly believed that their methods were the best way to improve the status of blacks. Calling it half-assed is incredibly stupid, as they successfully created an entire country, which remained one of the most modern countries in Africa until racial tensions boiled over and sparked a civil war.

That DailyWire article is the biggest site with name recognition I've seen talking about this. Where is everyone else? Aside from the usual suspects not mentioning it, that is.
This one is related because it's not coincidence that these charges were announced weeks after all the hubbub over ethnic strife in Chicago.

I give Tim some slack because he's probably busy tracking like 15 different news angles a day, plus trying to get some ammo for the gun he's getting/has got, plus (hopefully) learning how to operate it.
Also, to be fair, I didn't know that site existed or that you could see listings for federal crimes there, and I suspect most journalists don't either. The big firms probably have a few people who're trawling that site and state/local equivalents... if they're lucky.

I didn't see it myself but I think RedState by Kevin Smith might be one of those.
But yes, I'm sure there's more then a few. Like said earlier, there's an entire horror genre about scary serial killer redneck types. Though ideological advocacy or themes could be pretty thin in many cases.
