She will most likely have the backing of those in the State so they will probably help her with making it no so expensive

It will be a sort of "symbolic" win over the Far Left too and a way for others to be encouraged to stand up

If the majority of people really don't like Far Left insanity, well, it's an eventual uprising

The Un can lecture people on morality when their military stops raping small children.
By which you mean."actual nation's militaries. In litteraly no way the uterly toothless UN. Which exists as nothing more then a distraction. To make irrelevant nations (any and all who aren't in the G20) feel like they matter."

They are now committing crimes against humanity, that was quick.

locking people in and lighting a building on fire, where have I heard of that before.

Ukrainian nationalists did the same in Odessa during the recent upheavals.

I mean, he was a drunk and only did what he did because they said he couldnt have whiskey if he didnt.

That man did more for this country then any one of those testing down the statues will ever do. Or thier families.

I wonder, how much of all your monuments and statues will be gone by the end of these riots

So far, I doubt they can get to Mt Rushmore or Statue of Liberty, if only because they don't have the means to break them down

I mean, look at what the graffiti says-“kill whitey” and I think “kill all countries“ alongside other stuff that is entirely unintelligible.

How long till all statues of white people have to get torn down because they represent systemic racism and stole achievements that minorities should have had?

I don't think it will just be more white people's statues being torn down

Hell, Gandhi's statue at an Indian Embassy and that Black WWII veteran's statue/memorial was also vandalized

They may not publicize it as much and go on "justifying" it, but they may wreck ANY statue or memorial they come across

You can be forgiven for not knowing who Serra was, but wtf..you dont know who cervantes was? He wrote Don Quixote. The guy was also a slave for 4 or 5 years after being captured by pirates.

I think most people read Harry Potter than much classic or older literature

I mean, it wouldn’t surprise me if they decided MLK was an Uncle Tom who was too accommodating to America and white people more specifically.

One thing that gets me is the sheer cowardice of the Republicans. What an absolutely worthless party.

The republicans are doing their job...keeping any real opposition to corporate power and profits from emerging on the right. They deserve to be obliterated at the polls. People talk about blacks leaving the democrat plantation..why? The democrats are giving blacks what they want.

The republicans do NOTHING for their constituency, and actively work to dismantle any expressions of power and solidarity in the communities they are supposed to serve.

Its time for whites to walk off the conservative plantation, everywhere. Why be a conservative if there is nothing worth conserving, and the things you think you are conserving actively hate you?

I mean yeah, the Republicans don’t care about anything that isn’t a tax cut or pleasing K Street Donors.

That isn’t news. The hope was always that republican voters could “hold their feet to fire” and if nothing else pressure them into doing what their constituents wanted. Even if they themselves were gutless.

As for blacks-the hope always was that economic growth and getting them to escape the cycle of decay and dependency would cause them to leave the party that had them there.

It’s obvious though that this at best only gained the temporary support of...maybe 8% of the black population? Less? As a purely electoral strategy-it wasn’t bad in theory, but it’s clear now the black population alongside the Democratic Party mutually support each other in patronage and largesse. The Republicans were never going to pry more than a small percentage of the black population away from that.
