to be fair saving the economically vibrant parts of your city will make it easier to rebuild the rest of it. That's one of those shit judgement calls that might be nessary.
Considering who the mayor in question is I'm not too sure this is as much judgement call as it is straight up incompetence or just not giving a damn about the other areas. Not to mention rebuilding is damn near guaranteed not to happen for areas that get burnt to the ground afterwards because no company is going to move back in.

true, but the thing is if the cities become like they were in the 80s no business will remain there. Remember there is a reason movies like escape from New York entered the public consciousnes.

or even in the late 20th century, this is an insurrection
This is really a less strict time to get away with almost anything.

Looks legit. If the fuckwits don't respect the law then don't expect the police to do so when they're doing it to stop you from doing more rioting.

This actually isn't a good thing, as policemen destroying private property without warrants especially if they don't know if those cars belong to protestors or not isnt a good thing. In the medics case I doubt they did anything to deserve their tires slashed and now they have to pay to replace them for the no real reason.

It's a mix based of publicity that's for sure.

Tires are not covered by insurance. Making it costly to keep driving to the protests. Forces the people to walk and waste time. Also money to fix their cars, since most cars only have one spare, this means they need to pay a couple hundred for a town and then another couple hundred to get new tires. Locals are less likely to burn down their own neighborhood at least.

The breakdown of order tends to do that. Escalation and retaliation.

They better have insurance as they used to say to the business owners.

Oh what a twist... The same people that let Obama get away with the NSA and more terrorism legislation are now feeling what that legislation does to your rights. They should be glad Trump is hiding in his bunker instead of using the full power of all the shit Bush and Obama passed into law, if he wanted he could practically neuter the entire left under the name of "National Security" and just disappear most of his hardcore opposition. I wonder if Hillary Clinton would have shown this much restraint.

What's Fort Worth to anyone that knows it?

Are they seceding?

Fort Worth is the other half of Dallas if that's what you're asking. Its called the Dallas-Fort Worth region as those two cities have swallowed up every other township in the region. I'm actually really disappointed in this. Dallas is a Democrat stronghold and I'd expect this kind of stunt from there, but Fort Worth is classically so right-wing they'd allow oil drilling downtown. Who even is the mayor right now?

Oh, its Betsy Price, a UT alumni. That probably explains it.

This shit smells like CIA/Cartel activity, to me.
