United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

How I feel reading about more riots this year.

I feel like this started with people blocking highways with the Trump election maybe? And then there were the lock-down protesters in the state capitol, followed by the George Floyd riots, then the storming of the federal capitol, and now this.

It's escalating, isn't it?

Of course.

They don't have ANY consequences. They can loot, threaten, destroy, and do whatever they want and the people in charge of these places let them.

They won't stop escalating till they hit a limit of what will be tolerated and with the left covering for them it's going to be a looooong time till they do something even the radical left won't put up with.

Ah, brownshirts. I wonder if they realize.
More like the Brown berets. Kind of odd for a chicano rights movement to be showing up at a Black lives matter protest for a mixed man who looked white as a sheet (especially given that blacks and mexican-americans aren't on very friendly terms over in say LA).

A what?
Also, wernt guns what killed the native tribes of Latin America?
Spanish would have never been able to conquer Mexico if they hadn't allied with every other tribe that hated the Aztecs.
Native allies made up over 70% of the total forces Hernan Cortes commanded when he marched against the Aztecs in the second

That's the narrative that's never told in school, that native allies made up a large portion of any colonizer's army.

Oh I was taught that.
I was also taught that guns made things easier

Looks like sympathy protests elsewhere had more success last night in destroying things. Like managing to set a small fire at a Police Union in where else but the city of Portland.

I like how the title says "Police station" but the description reads police union building.

Even now those filthy journos and MSM are still lying to us, the people.

A flat paddle lined with obsidian blades that are sharper than scalpels. Basically swords for people without iron.

They could cut better than Katanas (Sharper than scalpels), could saw (because the obsidian blades were not contiguous) AND could parry a blow pretty effectively with the wooden flat.

The problem is that glass blades are no good against the steel Armour used by the Spanish, and the Spanish's steel swords and spears (Which they were more than happy to give out to their native allies) were more like hammers than blades, very good at smashing through the wooden base.

macuahuitl is basically the Aztec Dweeb's Katana.

Sorta. They could cut through unarmored flesh better than many steel swords (of which the Katana was not particularly impressive by comparison), which had to trade sharpness for strength to deal with armor. Even the relatively light lammaller armor typically used in Japan (due the lack of good iron ore).

But even with the different design issues, obsidian can be made much, much sharper than steel. There are (Unconfirmed) accounts of macuahuitl weighing soldiers decapitation Spanish horses in a single blow.

In fairness, that's true of nearly all swords and blades, steel armor is designed to keep swords and the like from simply cutting through it (hence the increasing use of maces, warhammers, war picks, and other weapons designed to either price through the armor or wound the user via blunt force trauma).
