In some ways we're watching the Democratic Cerberus break its own necks. There are too many inconsistencies in left wing messaging for even the unobservant to not notice. The riots are happening in predominately Democratic strongholds and are being verbally enabled by Democratic aligned figures and actions. That will still play in places like Whitehall where reality was decided upon before it occurred, but for the people who have lives in the real world, it looks bad. Rioters burning American cities while Democratic politicians howl at their Republican counterparts for daring to do anything about it just does not fly with regular people. There is just too much happening to lie and spin about and these events have publically invalidated the lion's share of Democratic talking points on the world stage where no amount of media bias can hide it.
So chin up me hearties, we're in the trench run now. If we stay on target and show up to vote it will happen. One more Republican term will be a stake in the heart of the neoliberal glue that holds the Democratic party together, much like how Bush's many follies shattered neoconservatives' credibility. The Dems know this too and their thrashing will become more desperate and destructive the closer the time comes. Its been a long fight, but if we hold true we can see about actually repairing the damage poorly thought out and enacted progressive program have wrought upon the USA and hopefully raise the next generation of Americans to not buy into a stale, toxic ideology regurgitated by failed Cold War ideologues.

Simply having another Republican term won’t end it
I say you have to do stuff like replace public schooling and colleges with online education, private schools(pretty expensive still)and trade schools
Give them less avenues to take populations in a metaphorical hostage and make it so they can’t turn to much anyone else for their education(especially if they decide to use it to brainwash em)
Make it so that Unionized Businesses in league with the Far Left have to deal with customers finding alternatives etc
The key isn’t to fight them at certain fronts, but to REMOVE said fronts for them to even have the opportunity to take advantage of
Hell, I think you guys are gonna have an upsurge in a culture of gun loving and many of those guns will be black market.....will be hard to even deal with people buying off the black market and zealous
The front of Entertainment is already slowly being replaced and having its Far Lefties take a beating....so it solves itself
Relying on politicians and government power is like fighting poison with poison, make em as less powerful as possible

If elements of the national guard or the military side with the rioters, if they refuse to follow Trump’s potential orders, then well all we can do is pray for a miracle.

Honestly I think a lot of people here say trump will win as a matter of keeping up morale, more than anything else.
I am not nearly so optimistic.
Esper has publicly defied the administration. By refusing to support using troops to crack down on the arrest.
This is absolutely a bad thing.
Like during times of unrest the last thing you want is these sorts of splits in the government, especially publicly, as they only invite weakness and decrease support for the state.

I don't see the issue. They're expressing solidarity with the more peaceful protesters on the issue of Floyd's death (which is perfectly reasonable), I don't think it means they won't confront the more violent protesters.

They shouldn’t be expressing solidarity even if they do sympathize. As soldiers it’s not their job to engage in this sort of political demonstration. Even if the soldiers have the right to privately believe “I sort of agree with the protesters”. Joining them even for something like this is extraordinarily dangerous. And must be nipped in the bud fast.
