Too late for the former. I don't know if they thought really hard but the people in the riots are causing damage to themselves and the cause they espouse.

Unintentionally they're increasing support for the second amendment.

They have forgotten one of the lessons of thier guru alinsky..any tactic that goes on for too long becomes a drag.

One should be prone or kneeling and still able to look over the edge, have good weapon discipline as well. Not standing like complete idiots

Their methods are lots of burning, looting with increasing cases of murder. Rapes are there but it isn't put on air as much.

Committing banditry on anyone isn't going to garner any sympathy to their cause. The worst is they're doing it in Democrat strongholds.

Do they actually vote? Those they hurt if their loyalties are already broken by the cowardice of the politicians they elected will vote for Trump if the pressure is too much to break TDS programming.

Alinsky tactics are not built for battles of attrition, but that's what is happening.

Trump for all of his faults understands the democrats, he's delibretly trolled and baited them and then let them spend more and more effort, more and more energy, burn more and more resources going after him. Its been 4 years of this, then the riots happened and now were on month 3.

No party can maintain this level of energized frenzy for too long, and I honestly think they have lost control.

We are either in for a land slide trump victory and a collapse and then rebuilding of the democratic party or a civil war.

The problem with these people, and by these people I mean the entirety of the social justice complex is that what really drives them is the conflict itself. They want conflict and confrontation, because they believe it gives them opportunities to flex their power against people they dont like. So they wont stop. They cant stop. They will always look for more and more conflict and confrontation. They are ends unto themselves.

And Portland authorities will cooperate on those warrants just like they cooperate with ICE.
