While it has the biggatons, it lacks the sheer scale of 40K, being stuck in a single systme rather than covering an entire galaxy.
I mean, Gunbuster and Diebuster are only a single system too and, uh, I don't think anyone has the guts to claim they aren't well above 40k...

Wasn't Destiny already solidly higher end?
It did but it really wasn't into Witch Queen and onwards that the scale was confirmed for sure.
The main benefit Final Shape offers is just how broken the Witness is.

Dude is basically a Chaos God and the Guardians beat him at the end of the saga.

Scale wise it's confirmed Hive and Cabal were intergalactic, Vex are also literally infinite.
Guardians really only survive thanks to a combination of factors mainly some infighting between the antagonist factions mainly Savathun secretly sabotaging the bad guys this entire time.

Need some help identifying what game this screenshot is from
a04edf2c-b61e-41c0-9da0-ad1072b45343.png

Its from a clip from the very beginning of this video:

Nice! You can tell me whatever, I don't mind spoilers when it comes to remakes :)

It's Birkins Final Form in Resident Evil 2. William Birkin is the scientist who developed the G-Virus in that game while working for Umbrella. An Umbrella Team was sent to deal with him, shot him up, so he infected himself with the G-Virus before he died. The resulting bloodbath resulted in the Raccoon City Outbreak. William Birkin is encountered several times throughout the game by either character, always evolving and becomes a super sized monster at the end trying to swallow a tram train the heroes are attempting to escape on.

He's probably one of the strongest foes in the series off the top of my head.

I am interested in investigating how gender, sexuality, corporeality, and power are represented and negotiated in pre-seventeeth-centure Japanese narratives and illustrations. My first book, Tales of Idolized Boys: Male-Male Love in Medieval Japanese Narratives (University of Hawai'i Press, 2021) is on medieval chigo monogatari (Buddhist acolyte tales), which often depict romantic relationships between Buddhist priests and adolescent boys. These tales challenge a host of normative and moral standards we (academics, especially) internalize, including such ideas as "sexual orientation," "transgenerational sex," and "sexual agency."
Bitch literally wrote a book on ancient pedophilic man-boy gay smut.
And explicitly wrote it in a positive tone. claiming those stories are "challlenging" our modern notions of "transgeneration sex" (pedophilia) and "sexual agency" (statutory rape). which is is advocating in favor of.
But for it to also challenge sexual orientation I can only guess is that maybe the little boys being molested were not gay.

I would like to point out one issue with the linked video.
Asmongold clips is looking at the ubisoft page which shows the intro to sachi next to a picture of white woman with the picture itself saying "Brooke Davies, Narrative Director". Which is misleading. And from what it says Asmongold himself was mislead.

While if you check Sachi Schmidt-Hori's amazon page her picture looks more like a half asian half white hybrid (and with the name "schmidt" that white half is probably jewish).

Imagine if a japanese company started senting american customers merch related to the usa civil war.
That depicted Abraham lincoln and other civil war famous people. wearing the flags of the wrong side.
Or having one character depictred with BOTH flags.
Or having a bunch of literally nonsense english characters that do not say any words

In this day and time? It would have been considered brave and stunning. Unless they portrayed Harriet Tubman as CISgendered Asian guy, then it would be ''two nukes were not enough''.

They apparently race-swapped one "psychopath" boss from Asian to Caucasian. But otherwise looks good.

This is more of a middle ground despite they call it remaster.

If it's the Butcher then I'm pretty ambivalent. Unless it was changed for Ching Chong ChiCom Chinese audiences. He's the only Asian psychopath I remember. And the game had like fifty.
