It's too close to the same size to have been there for 25 years, much more likely it got fixed at some point and the repairs then broke, probably multiple times.
Yup.Thst is the story of most named potholes on the Balkans, still though, you'd think the basic shape would change more.
Only if you consider ignoring a pothole for almost two-and-half decades when compared to fully repairing major damage to a 5-lane urban street and the clearly compromised foundations of nearby buildings within a week "funny".
THHe funny bit is that one government/people can fix such catastrophic damage in less than a year, while the other can't fix a single pot hole properly in over 25 years.
Guess Balkan/Slav/Best Yurup humor doesn't translate well.
Also, by some of our standards that road is actually good, you should see some of the roads near my village, or even in parts of Sofia, which is the capital city,despite decades of EU finding for transportation infrastructure.
