I'm doing Law with a sub-major in History and Politics what does that have to do with Liberal arts?
History and politics are 100% liberal arts. Law, if its an actual law degree in the field is not, as far as I am aware. Either way it has nothing to do with you, its that you used a meme that mentioned political science as if its worth something.

I actually don't get it.
Is this that weird american anti-intellectualism I hear about? Something something college bad or whatever?
I mean it could be a mistranslation so to speak. I'm not sure about "liberal" arts but regular arts (history and politics being my one) just covers the various degrees which are too small for a dedicated field.
Like half of my contemporary society class was high school teachers in training and the other half were people in law or buisness like me. There's sociology, pschology etc counted amongst arts. The literature degrees for historians and history inclined people in addition to that.
They don't make degrees that noone uses, or if they do they don't stay as degrees for very long.
I learned more actual, applicable skills, and useful knowledge and learned more about life in 4 months of handyman work than I did 4 years studying Liberal arts. Intellectualism is huffing your own farts. You love marxism so much you would be far better off experiencing working in a factory to understand it than listening to your intelligentsia tell you what to think.

Being a handyman is not being a lawyer though, I'd invite you to try getting onto the bar without a degree but I suspect the result would not be in your favour.

Law is a professional degree, like medicine. Just click the god damn link. Can all the college in the world not teach you the value of a google search?

Actually its because its not called Liberal arts at my university. Its just "arts". Maybe the American terminology is different or something I don't know.
