Stalin killed 8-10 million at most if you include famines and Hitler killed about 30 million at a minimum but whatever don't mind me. (Though Stalin should still be shot since even the low estimates are "only" in the low millions.)

There's a deep truth there. Many people who want Communism come across as wishing they could be like primitive hunter-gatherers, living for free off the landscape.
Except that the environment they want to live for free off of isn't the wild countryside, it's civilization.
In effect, they want to be able to treat other human beings like a Bushman treats wild animals.
Though that comparison may be unfair to the Bushmen.

A bit of reality check here, for politicians the book deal money is usually tax cover for money from corporate sponsors and other corruption shennigans.

I rather doubt Bernie of all people is involved in corporate scams. And considering he released his tax returns and noone has been crowing about corruption i doubt thats how he got the money either.
If he was worth tens of millions from it yeah i'd be suspicious but I think he's "just" over a million when including properties, which isn't too far fetched for a succesful book.
