Women certainly need to do their fair share...
But if you don't want to LOSE you better not be sending women to do a man's job.

Eh, most MOS's don't have "Designated Bullet Sponge" as part of the job description.

Most Jobs women would fill would be medical at field hospitals, admin, most non combat jobs a woman can work.
Hell, that is what most in the military do anyway.
Intel for instance has had females for awhile (it's because they are good at digging into people lives and finding shit out).
In a draft that women are put on, I doubt they would draft them combat arms. MPs would be the only ones I could see being females anywhere close to combat via draft.
Now if they volunteered and went combat arms that's on them. Most in war would probably switch to non combat jobs
and this frees up men to fight.
If you want to have a say in your society then you have to have skin in the game.

You are describing camp followers, not soldiers.
And you are assuming a sane leadership.
The democrats don't want "backline women". They want 50% of the front line soldiers to be female.
And even in backline roles they are wreaking havoc. Between sudden bouts of pregnancies that happen just as they are about to be deployed, to being pampered princesses that demand the other forces bend over backwards for them. To the constant accusations of sexual harassment or sexism.
Not to mention the utter hilarity of a tiny little woman trying to pretend to be a drill sergeant.
They also keep on giving them command jobs too.
A simple search online would find the pride they take at putting women in combat roles:

Because Russian peasants were just that, peasants, from one of the most authoritarian cultures in the modern world of the time, culturally inculcated into learned helplessness.
And essentially completely unarmed as civilians.
American culture is far from ideal, but it's about as anti-authoritarian as human cultures get, and we both have, and are acclimated to the use of, guns.
