I pray to God it doesn’t take that long for us to fix this mess.
There's a simple solution to this: simply vote for those who plan on reducing the government, not just 'stopping growth'.
But the thing is, Republicans as a group don't want to do this. They want to use the state to enforce their viewpoint. So do the Democrats. Who wins? The Deep State.
BTW, I'm not talking about the social stuff. Even winning on the social stuff won't help the republicans any. My issue is that they constantly increase government. Social stuff doesn't ratchet to near the extent that gov bureaucracy does, because even in a holding pattern, the bureaucracy still does constant dps.
For an analogy, let's say "how far you go is how shitty things are". Then your current speed is how shitty you are making them, etc. Adding Bureaucracy is accelerating. That's a third order effect which permanently increases the speed at which everything will become shittier.

Honestly, the funny thing about RINOs is that really, if most R politicians are RINOs, doesn't that in some sense make them the real R's, and the rare actually good pols the RINOs, using the name recognition to get something actually good done for once?

Primaries. And better a Democrat than a big gov Republican. A D big government can be challenged and replaced by the Rs. A Big Gov R cannot be. Hence why, for example, I wish Lindsey Graham was a Democrat: he'd be easier to kick out of the senate. Same for Ted Cruz, and I could go on.

The USA has dumped a party FIVE TIMES already.

I think, 99%+ of it has to go.
Total abolishment is a huge improvement from what we have now.
But in an ideal world we would fix them rather than totally abolish them.
(fixing does means abolishing 99% of it)
You'd be surprised how fucking dickriding modern people with IP's.
To state a ridiculous example, there's people out there who seriously, with 100% sincerity and 200% zealousness, believe that a concept like "Imagine an Orca crossbred with a dragon!" is an idea they and they alone can own and draw.

I won't post as much as before due to the fact that my father has threatened sue me, my mother and my sister over what little he gives us (in our bank accounts we don't collectively reach 5k all of the three of us) and to sell his part of the house, if we don't accept or find another written agreement before the 16 of next month because he, according to his lawyer's letter, "thinks there are no longer the prerequisites of the divorce settlement" which included giving us the bare minimum despite the papers of that divorce clearly stated "until the monetarybself sufficiency and conclusion of the education of the children (me and my sister)" as well as "the house shall be in copropriety/use or the mother until both son and daughter " which none of these things have been fulfillfed...basically he pretends we either accept this by next 16 or he takes to court. The advantages we have is that no one in Italian history has been dislodged , the Italian law system as of today is near incapable of even kicking out actual squatters of any kind (I guess due to the fact those who made laws regarding these situations were paranoid and because the first republic of Italy's governments were very humanitarian in some way), as well as the fact that my mother has not one but two chronic illnesses and my sister is in debt to pay for her private uni because has stopped paying despite the divorce settlement clearly stated he needs to cover it.
As advantage (silver-lining I suppose) is all the documentation regarding my physical and mental health problems and the fact my mother has two chronic illnesses and is still recovering from the cancer and chemotherapy, so to add to the historical precendent that nobody gets kicked out of a house in Italy we have these factors as well.
My mom's (and now probably my and my sister's lawyer) replied with the following :
"Dear,
I read the registered letter from his new lawyer.
Obviously they take everything for granted, but that's not really the case.
I will be happy to take care of the cause that certainly he will do it.
If you want we can make an appointment for the week
on January, so we can talk about everything.
Best regards"
So not all hope is lost. He still using the tactic of giving a last minute ultimatum so that we are scared into agreeing with him, thing is it doesn't work with me and my mom, my sister is of course scared but I suspect she is depressed because she did everything my father asked of her and she still got treated like shit.
I thought this belonged to the hate news section even though it is personal like me telling about my father first lawsuit against me in Brazil (which had to settle with me in the end).
I can only tell that if he actually was happy and satisfied of the life he is having he wouldn't pull legal shit or any kind really.
Really other news is that they are pushing news of COVID cases again in Italy, reportedly they are 41k with upteenth variant.
