Five minutes of hate news

The Elites think they can get away with it forever, though. It ain't gonna be pretty. :)

no one wins forever, no one stays on top forever.

Before the Managerial revolution which brought the current elite into power in power during the great depression you had the great industrialists more or less being the elite, before that you had the planter class before that the mercantilist class ect. All of them had their time in the sun but eventually circumstances changed and people moved onto a different way of doing things.

Now its unfortunate that the current managerial class doesn't have the class that the industrialists had to gracefully give up power but it doesn't really matter they will be removed. Because quite frankly their shit at their jobs and when that happens you remove them and put some one else in.

The more you fight that process the worse it goes for you.

Oh man, I've known that for ages now. It basically started when Occupy Wallstreet was at it's peak.
"OH NO THE PLEBES ARE ALMOST ONTO US! HURRY SEND THE GENDERQUEERS AND BROWN PEOPLE AT THEM!"
X_X And it worked awfully well.
Which might be WHY they are sending them at us. "We need disposeable meat shields to blunt what the normal people will do to us. The shield gives them their pound of flesh and we can all go hide in New Zeeland."

The big question is, would we actually let them get away with running away to new zeeland.

New Zealand has the room, they are big enough and have resources the problem is their weak and when the world comes knocking looking for these people they will hand them over in the name of national surivvial.

Occupy Wall Street was doomed to failure from the very start.

Aside from the obvious problems- a bunch of stupid leftists with conflicting grievances trying to work together- the problem was that the people who dominate Wall Street themselves did not want those people around. That may seem like a blinding flash of the obvious but it goes deeper than that.

Given the economic troubles that were brewing the last thing they wanted was the spotlight within a thousand miles of them, which indirectly those protestors were doing. You see, they don't mind colleges and people bashing capitalism, in fact they started that- but only so long as it was at a safe distance. It's not unlike those Hollywood leftists cheering on the "peaceful protests" until it started to actually threaten them.

Think about it- the mainstream media cheers on every leftist cause, but suddenly turned on what should have been a Baby Boomer's ultimate fantasy- young people staging a long protest against THE center of capitalism in America. Maybe, just maybe some of those people finally caught on to what was happening all along and they were just useful idiots being used.

This is why I'm suspicious of some of the mainstream woke failures. It's classic Saul Alinsky: back off a bit, seem reasonable, wait for people to trust you again...then pick up from where you left off. This is how we ended up in this insane dystopia.

Kinda. We ended up in this insane dystopia because ultimately, most Republicans are just progressives driving the speed limit when it comes to government. None of them actually want to fix the problem, instead they want to stay at the current level of the problem, which creates a ratcheting affect.

So it's not that the leeway is intentionally given to allow people to calm down. It's that Republicans consistently fumble when given the ball on the critical issue: how intrusive is government.

Police raid newspaper in order to shut it down because they said things they didn't like. They had a warrant that was, in fact, signed by a judge. Naturally, there are no consequences for anyone involved.

There is some truth to what you say, but you have to factor in time.

Okay, you are standing on a line in a field. To the right of you a little ways from where I am standing the crowd is to your right. Therefore you are somewhat to the left.

You haven't budged an inch but if that crowd starts moving to the left then after a time YOU are suddenly to the right of everyone! If they keep moving then you are more and more to the right. After a time if you move to the left a ways...you are still to the right.

This is exactly how Saul Alinsky tactics worked. It made the move to the left normal, the new normal. Republicans were, as you say, guilty of fumbling the ball, but you have to figure the leftist elite own the media, and so much else. They could stir up mobs against you. The only reason I don't mind being banned from websites that are allegedly "free speech" is not only my age and what has happened over the past two years, but because I know that just being what I am will always keep me in the crosshairs, and I have seen that pandering and apologizing has never, ever worked.

That's the thing. You didn't accurately describe what the Republicans were doing. They weren't standing still, they were just walking slower. Had they actually stood still, that would have been worth something.

In fact, frequently they were walking faster than the left. Sure, they were walking towards right authoritarianism, and the left was walking towards left authoritarianism, but either way you end up with Authoritarianism.

Yep, endless 4chan memes about how in the 2040's we'll have the republican party saying the following lines.
-Democrats are the REAL transphobes!
-Democrats want to sacrifice children to Baal, when we only want to sacrifice them to Moloch
-etc
