You guys are missing a couple of obvious things from this happening : this happened when Meloni was outside of Italy and when she came to "assess" the situation she came with Ursula Von Der Leyen! Salvini did the same despite he is an ally of Meloni and came with Marine la Pen, so it is like a very twisted sense of bullshitery.
Of course, the voter base of the current government ain't reacting to kindly to her (at the moment) not keeping one of her biggest promises and how the French, German and Dutch political elites have turned us into an handling migrants center and aren't taking any.

Meloni doesn't want to get Salvini'd, and Italy's, even Europe's "deep state" is the issue here.
Specificially, the judiciary. Which points out really nicely at the outrage of EU left at the few countries taking more material steps at shifting control over theirs more to domestic politics, Poland and Hungary (even though it has own dangers) rather than international soft power pressures (aka left biased media, professional and organizational institutions).
EU is mighty mad over this and is blocking EU funding, but until they get their way, it's going to be very hard for anyone to try the same retaliation as was aimed at Salvini for his migrant blocking.

Meloni may even want to push the migrant issue harder, but i think she's reasonably afraid of getting Salvini'd - namely, Salvini himself, for his effort, has been hit with a still ongoing campaign of legal skirmishing from the left, which is making his life harder, personally and politically, and will continue to do so even if he wins the cases in the distant end, which is not guaranteed.

Russia? Definitely trying to maliciously make the bad situation worse, as clearly seen with the new Belarus route, but the core of the issue is at the highest levels of EU and most influential members, their legal-philosophical thought.
Depending on autocrats in route states to protect Europe's borders is a often costly and/or temporary band-aid solution when available in the first place, and migrants do route around those whenever possible. The bigger problem is that the western countries legally guarantee the migrants a welcome once they find themselves in their preferred social welfare paradise.
We all know why they don't try this shit with states like Saudi Arabia, China or Russia. They would be lucky to be second class residents with little to no legal protections and low class work, or if they cause any trouble, prison, labor camp or bullet would be just as likely.
But any asylum shopper knows that difference.

Gen Z for Change, previously known as "TikTok for Biden," coordinates its network of influencers to produce videos that criticize conservatives and endorse Democratic policies. These policies range from gun control and racial justice to illegal immigration, climate change, and anti-police legislation.


However, the nonprofit's activism extends beyond the Chinese-owned and operated platform, TikTok. According to its website, Gen Z for Change mobilizes "a network of influential users across TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, who together have access to over 500 million people."

The Biden administration has leveraged the nonprofit as a tool to further the Democratic Party's agenda. The Post disclosed that White House officials briefed the nonprofit on Biden's ongoing efforts in Ukraine in 2022. In response, the group's influencers created videos supporting the President's actions.

Gen Z for Change was also invited to the White House to witness the signing of the Inflation Reduction Act, a gesture of gratitude for their contributions. Furthermore, the nonprofit's influencers were invited to the Oval Office for meetings with President Biden regarding the Wuhan coronavirus.

Aidan Kohn-Murphy, the founder of Gen Z for Change, who commands a TikTok following of over 288,000 people, stated to his social media audience: "We are unequivocally supportive of Medicare for all, the Green New Deal, Palestinian liberation, [and] a plethora of progressive policies that a vast majority of Gen Z supports."


Kohn-Murphy's speaker profile reveals that the young activist has managed partnerships with the White House, the DNC, Fair Fight, Made to Save, March On, Climate Power, and more.

The $8.3 million allocated to Accelerate Action for 2020 and 2021 was primarily funded by Soros. Accelerate Action is the sole nonprofit that has donated to Gen Z for Change, according to the most recent publicly accessible tax data.

The method by which Gen Z for Change distributes the Soros funding to its young influencer activists remains undisclosed. These activists' accounts are rife with talking points from the White House and far-left politicians.

House Representative Elie Stefanik (R-NY) condemned George Soros in a statement to the NY Post, accusing him of "funding the next generation of far-left activists on a platform that is beholden to the [Chinese Communist Party]."

Soros' controversial influence in American politics on behalf of the Democratic Party is undeniable. He has invested millions of dollars in the campaigns of far-left district attorneys, contributing to a criminal justice system that appears to be a revolving door for repeat offenders due to a lack of prosecution.

Earlier this month, Soros' son Alex, who is set to take over the Open Society Foundation from his 93-year-old father, penned an op-ed for Politico revealing the Foundation's next mission—preventing Donald Trump from serving another term in the White House.
